The Flintlock Disaster is a true story documentary about Marine Corps Squadron VMF 422, The Flying Buccaneers, and the cover up that ensued as they were sent to impending doom flying into a typhoon in the South Pacific in 1944. 23 aircraft were lost and 6 pilots died, while the others did their best to survive for 72 hours in the water waiting to be rescued.
