I can hardly believe I'm actually writing a review for this one, but Alia Shawkat is in it, so I wanted to see it. It turns out to be pretty terrible (of course?), except for H.M. Superstar's delivery and timing of the first line and, of course, Alia's Immortal Death Scene (approx. 1m25s - 1m47s). She has a hankering for some beautiful red apples on Labor Day, but can't remember in which apple she put her bullets... so she just tries one and she dies horribly, gore included (when will you do a horror movie, Alia?). I would personally have written to AMPAS - if only I were sure they'd take anyone's advice - to make sure she gets at least an Oscar nomination for it. But really, it was pretty funny, idea- and acting-wise! So, for all that, and that other line (well, maybe the basic ideas for the other two deaths were a little funny, too) no less than 3 points!
