My overall rating of "The Ricky Gervais Show"'s Season 3: 5/10
To list just some things off: 1) For someone as outwardly appreciative of science as Ricky is, the retelling of the Big Bang was very factually incorrect. Even with the "explosion" metaphor aside - no, Ricky, it didn't take minutes for the universe to become as we know it, it took several hundred thousand years for the bloody thing to even become transparent (hence the Cosmic Microwave Background).
2) The virtue signalling on recycling etc is annoying.
3) Karl tries way too hard now, and his co-hosts try way too hard to sell him as oh-so-quirky.
4) Gross-out humour makes a big portion of the total again.
All and all, not great.
