In these first couple of episodes Nucky seems to be lost even picking up a mistress on the side. The deaf son is back and his dad wants him to be Tuff again. Nucky comes in with a news headline ripped from the top and makes the decision to sell behind closed door to a client. After Gip pored gasoline on a police officer he has some questions to ask. When someone comes to house it's a kid that Owen beats up. Nucky decides to let the kid go but in come another gang and he, Owen and the kid must hide down below. When someone comes down they are almost found. We also get a big guy beat up in a bar while some of Nucky's liquor gets taken. Back in New York and Lucky's business is going OK. Al asks his son to hit him as he try's to get him tougher as he feels he is too weak. While trying to promote the hospital Margaret runs into someone she knows and meets her husband. Lucky goes to meet with someone and the conversation is half Italian and English talking about who owns what area to sell. Al gets into a bar fight and kills the guy only to leave money bis around the dead body. Finally after what seemed like forever the guys get to leave the basement. The kid seemed to be accepted by Nucky but then he shoot him in the back of the head surprising Owen he did not let him live. Eli try's to worn the guys but they do not listen to him and go straight into the ambush but all we hear is sounds of guns being fired in the background. Al then sings a song to his deaf child which makes for the ending song of the episode which includes shoots of two brothers coming together for mutual cost and Margaret reading the newspaper. Boring episode as these first episodes have been.

EPISODE GRADE: C+ (MVP: Steve Buscemi)
