Officer Blake

Jamie has a poor first impression of his cocky new partner Vinny Cruz, from a different precinct. Ignoring PR advice, Frank compromises himself when visiting the family of an honest cop's hasty mistake fatal victim, then antagonizes the while force by bluntly apologizing in the media, yet makes up by preventing the traumatized cop's suicide attempt. Incorrigible criminal Benjamin Walker, who lost everything when duly arrested by Danny, finally made parole and is likely to make true his promise to exact revenge, on Danny or his family. Not a real situation
9 June 2015 | by (Germany) – See all my reviews

OK first let me say I like Blue Bloods, even though I dislike the over the top religious content which I find intrusive but then it is an American production and most of them still think the Earth is only 6,000 years old. Sorry, I digress, a tense episode with Danny being held hostage by someone whose life he supposedly ruined by sending him to jail years before. Whilst I understand the plot line, it is very tense in places I couldn't take the bomb bit. I was OK with Jackie being handcuffed to the bomb but when Danny removes it to cuff to himself he had time, because Benjamin was not in sight line, to throw it into the river. OK sorry for being pedantic but had he been close by it would have worked. Otherwise a fab episode from this high quality series, I just had to say something.
