Storyline

Walter's delight to find a friend and gay mentor in Bennet Wilcox can stand being told physical intimacy must wait until he's of age, but when jealous Maggie finds her cop lover Simon Byrnes engaged and finally realizes ex Walter is gay, she makes a vicious scene in the diner, grossly outing the shy knave. Sebastian and Carrie are miserable but too proud to admit it after she semi-accidentally broke up. Carrie is mildly jealous of Dorrit's happiness with riper Miller, whom Sebastian praises as a brilliant former school mate. When Sebastian offers to make up, she refuses to expose herself to the enduring pains of love.
