Anne V's found great success in her modeling work, but The Face coach wanted to mix just more than fashion and style as a kid--she wanted to be a chemist! "Being a model was my ultimate dream and I never thought it was going to happen," Adam Levine's ex revealed in a Google chat Wednesday promoting The Face. "But I really wanted to be a chemist." "I was obsessed," the statuesque blond beauty said. "Both of my parents are doctors. I had the most wonderful chemistry teacher that made me fall in love with chemistry. It was a woman." The academic world is tough, indeed, but so is the catwalk. "I have no idea how they pull through it," the 27-year-old fashion »

The aspiring models realize the competition will be intense when they find themselves parading about in their underwear in the middle of Manhattan.
On the opening episode of the second season of Oxygen's "The Face," airing Wednesday, March 5, aspiring contestants strut down a catwalk in Bryant Park wearing black bras and panties while model coaches -- Naomi Campbell, Lydia Hearst and Anne V -- select hopefuls for their teams.
"There is a lot that you try to teach these girls in a very limited amount of time," Hearst tells Zap2it. "I want them to understand it is a very difficult and fickle industry, and you have to be willing to grow and challenge yourself and step outside your comfort zone. Nothing is truly personal. You have to have thick skin. You have to be willing to change your hair color."

Let's take a psychedelic trip back to the '70s, shall we? Naomi Campbell channeled her inner 1970s diva, donning a full Afro wig during her appearance on the British comedy talk show The Graham Norton Show, which was filmed Thursday and will air Friday. So while we have to wait until tonight to see the full interview with Naomi, we've still got a preview of her look in the meantime—which is pretty fabulous, we must admit. Clad in a sparkly black dress with a plunging neckline, the supermodel swapped out her typically pin-straight locks for something a bit more dramatic. Naomi will be on the second season of the modeling competition series, The Face, which airs on the Oxygen »

This time, Barker will also serve as confidant to the 12 “modeltestants” vying to become the face of Frédéric Fekkai’s 2014 ad campaign — a role he says allows him to ask the same questions viewers would and … Continue reading →

At 43, supermodel Naomi Campbell is drop dead gorgeous and has the toned body to rival any 20-something. While, Naomi has certainly had her moments of bad behavior, those diva tantrums seem to be a thing of the past.
Healthy Hollywood recently chatted with the iconic beauty and she couldn't have been sweeter. I caught up with her in New York City while she was here doing press for her modeling competition show "The Face."
It turns out Naomi is a big fan of the wellness world and the two of us were like giddy high school pals ...

Model Behavior It wasn't hard to feel on the short side at The Daily & Modelinia's party for The Models Issue on Friday at Harlow in midtown early evening. Besides Img's Ivan Bart, international fashion and design consultant Fern Mallis and photographer and host of The Face Nigel Barker, a bevy of leggy beauties, including Julie Henderson, Lydia Hearst and Selita Ebanks, swarmed the venue, "I just did the Rag & Bone show," said model Jessica Hart. "I literally walked right off the runway and came here." The Australian catwalker will be catching a few shows of her

Supermodel Naomi Campbell has a whole lot goin' on these days, especially with her role as coach and mentor on Oxygen's The Face. But the British beauty took time out to chat with E!'s Alicia Quarles about the show's second season. "We like drama, right?" declared Naomi. "When we're filming The Face I'm not thinking about drama, but I am who I am. Will I fight to the bitter end for the girls and will I be their protector? Absolutely, 100 percent." The model also responded to being compared to Tyra Banks and Heidi Klum as fellow supermodels who have turned to television. "I respect Tyra and Heidi," she said. "I think what they've done is amazing, and »
Why do we have a sneaky suspicion Michael Kors sneakily set up this fashion battle? What designer wouldn't want Naomi Campbell and Carmen Kass—two of the hottest supermodels of all time—duking it out in their dress? Also, we're pretty sure neither beauty would pick this weird and wild giraffe print without some persuasion. And so we're faced with an unfair fight. Two statuesque celebs with perfect figures in a slinky silver stunner. Sometimes are job is so hard... We're lucky that length seems to be the only difference between these two designs. The Face judge is rocking the floor-length gown version of this zoo-animal chic while the elegant Estonian went for some above-the-knee action. We »
