Watch Noel Gallagher, Kate Moss on Stand Up to Cancer Gogglebox special

17 October 2014 3:38 PM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - TV news news »

Which X Factor contestant is Kate Moss "obsessed" with? Who does Miranda Hart think is an awkward dancer? And just why does Noel Gallagher keep such a close eye on his crisp stockpile?

The answers to all the above and more were revealed tonight (October 17) in Channel 4's Celebrity Gogglebox special in aid of Stand Up to Cancer.

In addition to appearances by some of the show's regulars, the cast of Miranda, Moss and Gallagher were joined sofa-side by Naomi Campbell as they gave their verdict on the week's X Factor performances, Strictly Come Dancing and watched emotional footage of young people fighting cancer.

The former Oasis guitarist could be seen nodding along in approval to Andrea Faustini's performance of 'Earth Song', while Campbell smirked as Moss referred to former The Face contestant Chloe Jasmine as "more Essex than Downton Abbey".

"There's some juddery movements," observed Hart, as the »

In a clip, she is heard saying: "I absolutely adore shopping. I've really developed a taste for style and an appreciation of fine tailoring and materials.

"Having worked in the fashion industry for about seven years or so, I've become accustomed to being surrounded by beautiful things.

Union J's Jaymi Hensley on Chloe Jasmine: "She's not from this world"

14 October 2014 7:55 AM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - TV news news »

Union J singer Jaymi Hensley has heaped praise upon X Factor contestant Chloe Jasmine, claiming that he doesn't believe she is fake.

Jasmine has faced criticism over the last few weeks after a 2006 audition of her on the show revealed that she hasn't always had the accent that she possesses today.

Speaking to Digital Spy at last night's (October 13) Attitude Awards about who he is backing on this year's X Factor, Hensley said: "Chloe Jasmine - I love that bitch!

"I loved her on The Face too. She's not from this world. What I love about her is that Naomi Campbell told her to be less theatrical and she just couldn't, because she had no idea how to not be herself.

"When the press say she is fake, I genuinely don't believe it."

Hensley also revealed that he hopes Louis Walsh's boyband Stereo Kicks are able to support their youngest member Charlie Jones. »

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Louis Walsh, Mel B and Simon Cowell have spoken... The 12 final X Factor acts have been picked and will be performing at the Live Shows starting this Friday.

A few of the finalists' faces are familiar, so here's where you may have seen some of the final 12 acts before below:

Cheryl's Girls:

Chloe Jasmine

We watched Chloe Jasmine take part on Sky Living modelling reality TV series The Face during which she was mentored by supermodel Naomi Campbell. She impressed all three model judges including Campbell, Caroline Winberg and Erin O'Connor but gracefully exited the show after ranking in tenth place.

She also auditioned on The X Factor back in 2006, with Cowell describing her as "too over the top" and "every parent's nightmare... She doesn't want to work for a living, 'I want it all now'".

Utopia Premiere Recap: The Road to Yell Is Paved With Rude Intentions

Society, you in danger, girl!

That’s the take-home message of Fox’s new year-long, prize-free, reality experiment Utopia, in which 14 disparate strangers have been given five acres and some cows (plus jugs of booze, naturally) and asked to create their own ideal society — ambulances included, in case of alcohol poisoning/extreme douchebaggery.

X Factor: Chloe-Jasmine auditioned in 2006 but sounded very different

1 September 2014 4:51 AM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - TV news news »

X Factor is no stranger to returning contestants, but very few have such a large transformation as Chloe-Jasmine Whichello.

The singer impressed the judges with a coquettish and sultry rendition of 'Black Coffee' on Saturday's audition show, but do you remember her first appearance on the show in 2006? It's unlikely, because she is barely recognisable from eight years ago.

Sporting a garish pink cowboy hat and speaking in a voice quite unlike the posh tones viewers heard on Saturday, she's had a total transformation.

Simon Cowell said her performance was "too much" and "too over the top", and Sharon Osbourne said that she wasn't ready yet for a music career.

After she left the audition room, Cowell added: "She is every parent's nightmare... She doesn't want to work for a living, 'I want it all now'."

X Factor first review: Cowell brings back sparkle, but not the talent

30 August 2014 3:45 PM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - TV news news »

It's been four years since Simon Cowell was last on the X Factor panel in the UK. In his last series, he introduced the world to One Direction, the ratings were sky high and his show was the only thing people talked about on Monday morning at work.

He returns, after having his Us version of the show flop and dumped, to find that The X Factor is no longer the dominant force in British television.

BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing now reigns supreme in the ratings war and the tabloids and British public seem more interested in melting frozen Alaskas and Mary Berry's opinion on soggy bottoms than his reunion with Cheryl Fernandez-Versini behind the judges' desk.

Series 11 of The X Factor is the biggest challenge that Cowell has faced since he first controversially launched the show, spinning off his new found superstar status on Pop Idol. »

X Factor has found this year's Katie Waissel/Kitty/Rylan/Wagner

"When people meet me, they always say, you are the poshest girl I've ever met in my life. I would describe myself as a very interesting character."

Let us introduce you to Chloe-Jasmine Whichello. You'll be hearing a lot more about her over the coming months, as she looks likely to become this year's X Factor 'character', filling a Rylan/Kitty/Waissel/Wagner-shaped void in the singing competition.

Reality TV obsessives will already be familiar with Chloe-Jasmine because she made a minor splash with her appearance on Sky Living's The Face.

The modelling reality series, fronted by Naomi Campbell, failed to ignite a huge amount of interest from viewers. However, "fabulous Sloane" Chloe-Jasmine stood out from the crowd.

Waltzing onto the show in a Harrods wig, she made an immediate impression with her stunning looks and stupendous poshness. She's so posh, she makes the cast of Made 'n Chelsea look like Jeremy Kyle guests. »

Naomi Campbell's modelling competition The Face has been axed by Sky Living after one series.

The show follows three supermodel coaches competing with one another to find the face of a major brand. Campbell was joined by fellow judges Erin O'Connor and Caroline Winberg on the sole UK series.

"The Face was a brilliant show, which I am very proud of but as is sometimes the case we have to make difficult decisions and so it is with regret that I confirm it won't be returning for a second series," said Director of Sky Living Antonia Hurford-Jones.

"I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Naomi and all those involved in making the show, and assure Sky Living customers I remain committed to bringing them the very best in new Us and UK entertainment."

Producers of the show Shine Group added: "We are incredibly proud of the UK production »

'The Face' has been axed by Sky Living after one series. Naomi Campbell's modelling competition will not return for a second run due to poor ratings and a high budget. 'The Face', which also stars supermodels Erin O'Connor and Caroline Winberg, launched to a lowly 132,000 viewers last September and Sky bosses aren't willing to fund another series of the expensive reality show. An insider told The Sun newspaper: ''Sky Living is spending the money on new dramas and comedies instead.'' Naomi, 44, had high hopes her show - which features three models mentoring teams of aspiring wannabes - would be a huge hit »

Naomi Campbell: Lion King Costume or Funky Lamp Shade?

4 June 2014 3:00 PM, PDT | E! Online | See recent E! Online news »

We always delight in a good fashion guessing game and Naomi Campbell's feathered frock is really giving us something to ponder. The Face star stepped out at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards looking more like a costumed Broadway star than a glamorous woman. So what does the supermodel resemble? We're torn. On the one hand we feel like we saw a getup just like this Alexander McQueen design on stage during our class trip to The Lion King on Broadway circa 1999, but it's just as possible that our Mommom has a lighting...thing in her house made from the very same fabric. If onstage animal is the answer, then the edgy Brit would have to be some kind of red-feathered bird or odd-colored duck. The wide skirt »

Let's rank every X-Man ever

21 May 2014 10:22 AM, PDT | EW.com - PopWatch | See recent EW.com - PopWatch news »

The X-Men have been around for more than 50 years. They multiply: rapidly, frequently, endlessly. They aren’t really a superteam like the Justice League or the Avengers, those all-star crews built out of solo-series stars (Superman, Captain America) mixed together with B-list glue characters (Martian Manhunter, Wonder Man). With one very obvious exception and a few other arguable exceptions, the X-Men aren’t Solo-Star people. They are a team.

Or rather, teams. Chris Claremont’s iconic decade-and-a-half run on Uncanny X-Men cemented the idea that the X-lineup was eternally fluid: Characters died, left on sabbatical, joined the Avengers, got replaced »
