Storyline

Portrait of Denmarks's most famous drummer. Lars Ulrich is back in Denmark, on account of Metallica's latest release, taking us on an exclusive tour around Copenhagen, revisiting some of the places that meant a lot to him during his early years. His childhood home. The school (Maglegaardsskolen). The tennis courts in Hellerup. The studios in Amager and the music store, where he cultivated his interest in heavy metal. Including a plethora of their greatest music videos from the past (i.a. featuring him sporting a mullet) - and an exclusive premiere of the latest video 'All Nightmare Long' from the new album 'Death Magnetic' - Lars openly shares stories about himself and his life, while taking us through the story of Metallica, from the humble beginnings to stadium powerhouse, culminating at today's release party at 'The Rock' in Copenhagen.
