Storyline

While Peter and Olivia grieve the loss of Etta, Walter retrieves the tape #7 and heads alone to an apartment building in a derelict zone to bring an essential component of the plan to defeat The Observers. The apartment is the opening to a "pocket universe' where the laws of time and physics do not work. Walter finds a man called Cecil that accidentally felt in this universe twenty years ago but only five days have passed in the pocket universe. Meanwhile Astrid finds the tape and goes with Peter and Olivia to the apartment. Peter and Olivia use the entrance to the pocket universe to seek out Walter while Astrid wait for them. But The Observers have identified Walter on the street and are heading to the area. What will happen next? Written by Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Trivia

The apartment that's in the corridor where the Observer Child was supposed to be hidden has an Apple symbol in place of the usual traditional numbers symbol. Also, all of the other apartments in this corridor have similar types of picture symbols. Many of those symbols appear at the end of each broadcast segment just before a commercial break. These are coded glyphs. The glyphs at the commercial breaks spell SPLIT. See more »

Goofs

Walter, Olivia and Peter spent nearly an hour inside the pocket universe. Based on the man's claim he had been stuck there for five days while 20 years passed in the normal universe, each hour in the pocket universe would equal roughly 60 days in the normal universe. Astrid would have been waiting for 2 months for them to return. See more »

"Through the Looking Glass and What Walter Found There" is an episode that recalls "Twilight Zone", with Walter, Peter and Olivia going to a place where the laws of physics and time do not work. The plot is intriguing and well-resolved, and the question now is how Peter will be affected by the device he implanted in his neck. My vote is nine.
