The launch results in Hannah reconnecting with Powell Goldman, her favorite college professor, who asks Hannah to do a reading at one of his weekly get togethers. This request makes Hannah confront one of her fears which is sharing herself through her writing. If she does decide to do it, she feels she has to choose the right piece to show the appropriate side of herself. She also gets much advice from her friends on what she should or should not do. Jessa receives a surprise visit from Katherine following the revelation of Jeff's infatuation with her, and Jessa's role in leading Jeff on. The real reason for Katherine's visit surprises Jessa, but does make her think about her current lot in life.
