- An investigation leads Harken and Hicks to go undercover in a secret, underground Alphas-only Fight Club where they meet "Kat", an energetic fellow Alpha whose can instantly memorize any physical or mental skill.
- Open with Harken seeming to be in rough shape. His wife thinks he should slow down, but ht assures her he's fine.
We see that Gary screams bloody murder before breakfast. His tells Rosen about the problem, saying she thinks he came back to work too soon and needs to talk to somebody.
Rachel is having issues with her over-protective parents. We meet John Bennett, who is going to be the team's new head of tactical. Rachel is bothered by his heavy use of body spray.
The team examines the body of Jack Duffy, a Building 7 escapee who appears to have had acid spit in his face. He was in a fight and then dropped off the side of a building. There is a number on his hand.
Following the number leads Harken and the team to an address in a bad neighborhood. Inside he and Hicks find what appears to be a fight club of some kind. The pretend to have been invited.
Rachel tells Bennett she has to get away from his smell, but as soon as she leaves the car she calls Hicks to tell him she smells the acid from Duffy's face. She follows the aroma and finds a man with an acid scar on his face. He's waiting for the man who did it to him, someone named Bazevich.
Harken is asked to participate in a fight and is told he must fight as a first-timer. During the fight a woman in the crowd tells Hicks that all the fighters are alphas. The one Harken is fighting is able to make his opponent see two and three versions of himself. Harken is not faring well.
Gary analyzes the black-and-white picture of a Civil War Major named Jacob who was treated at New York hospital by a Dr. Harrison. Rosen asks about the screaming and Gary says he doesn't want to talk about it. He mentions Anna being killed.
After the fight Bennett tells Harken about Bazevich, who they know is a fighter. The woman who talked to Hicks, named Kat, helps Harken get invited back for the next fight.
Gary tells his mother he's moving out. He thinks that Rosen's advice for Rachel should also apply to him. Rosen advises he stay home from work that day.
The alpha fight still seems like the best way to find Bazevich.
Cut to Kat working with Harken on his training, taking him through the talents of the various fighters.
Bennett brings Rachel a pile of different soaps, asking her to choose how he smells.
Kat thinks that Harken is fighting who he really is by not amping up. She says when he needs his power it will be there. Then without realizing what's happening Harken destroys the room with his bare hands.
At New York hospital Rosen is told Harrison's files are still in the records Harrison treated Jacob, describing him surviving a bullet wound to the middle of his forehead. We flashback to Harrison experimenting with Jacob's ability to heal from injuries. Rosen tells Hicks he thinks Jacob is Stanton Parrish. Hicks tells Rosen about the relationship with his daughter.
Harken's wife stops by to see him at work. He tells her how good he feels and the two start fooling around in his office.
Gary wants to live in the office. Rosen tells his mother they need to support him in his independence.
Kat tells Harken there will be a ton of people with deep pockets at the fights that night. He asks her about Bazevich, but she doesn't know much. She tells him she only remembers things for a month.
Rosen finds a news article related to Harrison being murdered. We flash back to Parrish stopping Harrison before he's to give a presentation about his abilities. When Harrison refuses to keep it to himself, Parrish kills him.

In the car Rachel smells something strange. Two people get out of an SUV which she thinks smells like Bazevich.
Kat wants to be the next person to fight Harken. With her kickboxing background and recent research she's done on how to fight, she wins the fight. Afterwards the people from the SUV want Kat to help them with a job. She leaves in their vehicle and the team follows.
At the location Rachel can hear that Kat is being prepped for something. Harken goes in to try and help her. He uses a soda machine to get past four armed men and finds a room full of stretchers. Kat seems okay. One of the stretchers contains a very dead Bozevich. It seems to be a place where alphas are experimented on. Kat seems very interested in joining Rosen's team.
Rachel and Bennett seems to be hitting it off. She hints at a date, but he doesn't think it would be appropriate.
Parrish finds Rosen at a diner. He says Harrison was killed because he tried to "use me." Parrish says he wants to stop the bloodshed. Rosen references his background in cellular research.
Gary's mother helps him move in to his new bedroom at the office. He tells her he'll call her in the morning.
We see Harken return to the fight club looking for a fight.
