The Voice Blind Auditions Part 6
25 September 2012 | by (Ireland) – See all my reviews

Part 6 and still no team is complete but still we have around two more blind auditions to complete all the teams. First up tonight is Michelle Brooks-Thompson who works at the bank but even her manager with an ex NFL player husband, she sings "Proud Mary", getting three judges to turn around, but she picks Adam as her coach. Second is Peru native Diego Val who tells us that he had contracted a disease that made him loose the will to walk but he comes to the voice singing "Animal" getting Cee Lo to be his judge. Third is Lauren Brooke a singer who had dyslexia saying in was so hard for her, she sings "Cowboy Casanova" because she wants to be a country artist. She gets picked by no one because I believe that when singing the song she had bad pitch in some places and that's why I would not have turned around. Fourth is Suzanna Choffel who helps young children and sing so she comes here to follow her dreams, she sings Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide", getting the mix of Adam and Blake to turn around. She picks Blake over Adam as her coach because they seem to have a country connection. Blake then gets Michaela Paige and Ryan Jirovec on his team in a quick montage.

Second part of my review and it's Dez Duron comes back to the show this time singing "Sara Smile" he gets three judges to turn around in the end picking Christina who wanted him last year and got him this year. Next is Cee Lo fan VJ who has been singing since he was three no teaching singing. "Forget You" and made a bad decision by getting no one to turn around as he did not sing it as well as the original. Then he sings the song with Cee Lo which just shows how bad he did the song compared to Cee Lo. Next is Alexis Marceaux from New Orleans who came with a video of her house after it had been hit. She sings "Go Your Own Way" for her city, getting Cee Lo to turn around joining his team exclusively. Then we get a montage including Adam getting Sam Jones, Christina getting Laura Vivas and Blake getting Lelia Broussard. Next is 17 year old Brandon Mahone who moved from Chicago to be safe from the gangs, he is inspired by some of the best soul singers and sings The Temptations "I Wish It Would Rain", getting three judges to turn around, he does pick Adam in the end.

Last part of me review and it's Jeffrey James a car parker at a restaurant. He comes singing Elvis, the song he picks is "A Little Less Conversation", he is unable to get any of the judges to turn around, I believe it was because he failed to live up the the original artist and is told the end was button worthy but he did not have enough time to impress. The after Jeffrey we got a montage of rejected artists of singers who are not able to get onto the show. Next is Jordan Pruitt an ex Disney singer who wanted to get into mature music so she comes to the voice. She sings "The One That Got Away" getting her dream of Christina as her coach. Last tonight is big talking Terisa Griffin who was an opening act but comes to the voice proving never to give up. She sings Adele's "Someone Like You", getting Christina and Blake to turn around. Before she gets picked she has a few questions for the judges but in a surprise to himself picks Blake which like Adam sad could be a match in hell. Nice funny episode.

EPISODE GRADE: A- (MVP: Suzanna Choffel)
