Season Finale Hits A Home Run ****

Wonderful episode dealing with a credible terrorist plot in New York City which shall be biological in nature.

Frank soon comes into conflict with the mayor as he wants to keep this news away from the public for fear of massive panic and the desire to flee the city. Frank shows how ethical he can be by even submitting his resignation.

Jimmy and Danny come to blows relating to a police matter, but there is much more to this. Jimmy blurts out how he felt about their deceased brother Joe and it appears that Danny had put Joe down at certain times.

A side issue which is also well handled deals with the arrest of an assault artist preying upon elderly women. While in custody, he gives Danny information regarding a long unsolved child disappearance case. The ending is endearing and most appropriate for Mother's Day.
