This is the Actor Who Plays the Night King on Game of Thrones

  • BuzzSugar
The Night King on Game of Thrones is arguably the scariest villain the show has had, at least in the sense that he's Death personified . . . and the foe that seems to want to end all of mankind. He doesn't speak, he's insanely powerful, he's able to conjure up a new army in seconds if he needs to, and oh yes, he looks like a scary-ass horned blue assh*le. The Night King's makeup is terrifying (well, except for in this video), so we thought we needed to revisit the actor who plays him in real life. The Night King is played by Vladimír Furdík, a stuntman who has also appeared in The Huntsman: Winter's War and Thor: The Dark World as a stunt performer. You have also seen him on the show before in the season six scene where Bran learns how White Walkers are made. He's the shirtless dude

Highlander Reboot Will Start a Trilogy, Gets Compared to John Wick

Highlander Reboot Will Start a Trilogy, Gets Compared to John Wick
Back in November, Summit Entertainment brought on John Wick and John Wick 2 director Chad Stahelski to direct their long-gestating Highlander remake, which has been in various forms of development since Summit picked up the rights to the franchise back in 2008. Directors such as Justin Lin (Star Trek Beyond), Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (Intruders) and Cerdric Nicolas-Troyan (The Huntsman: Winter's War) had been attached to direct over the years, and at one point, Ryan Reynolds was even attached to star, before dropping the project in 2013, which is interesting since Chad Stahelski is also directing Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool 2, taking over for the departing Tim Miller. Now the gestating remake seems to be on the right track, with the director revealing that he's not only developing one movie, but he's starting to put a trilogy together.

Collider caught up with Chad Stahelski while he was promoting John Wick 2, in theaters

Liam Neeson Terrorizes Christmas in Santa Claus Audition Video

Liam Neeson Terrorizes Christmas in Santa Claus Audition Video
With just five days left until Christmas, everyone is getting in the holiday spirit, even big-screen bad-ass Liam Neeson. The actor recently stopped by CBS' late night series The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, to promote two new movies hitting theaters in limited release this week, Focus Features' A Monster Calls and Paramount's Silence, both of which could be awards season favorites. The actor even made it clear during his interview that there are no plans for Taken 4, but before the interview, the actor had a little fun with sketch that aired during the talk show.

In case you missed his appearance this week, The Late Show debuted the sketch on their YouTube for all to see, and it may just become a new holiday classic. The two-minute video shows Liam Neeson dressed in a full Santa Claus costume, as he auditions to become the new mall Santa. It's

Miss Sloane Review: Jessica Chastain Shines in Dull Thriller

Miss Sloane Review: Jessica Chastain Shines in Dull Thriller
Let's face it. Political thrillers, when executed in just the right way, can be some of the most captivating and quality experiences a moviegoer can have. When executed poorly, they have this very particular, pandering stench to them that just doesn't sit right. It feels extra gross for some reason. Miss Sloane falls somewhere in the middle, but is perhaps more frustrating because all of the right elements are there, but the sum total of all its parts never quite gets there. At least not all the way there.

EuropaCorp's latest thriller Miss Sloane follows Elizabeth Sloane (Jessica Chastain), a lobbyist in Washington who has made a name for herself and is known for doing whatever it takes to win. Things get interesting when someone from both sides of the aisle of the gun lobby offer her a job. She decides to take the more challenging approach by opposing the

This week saw critics pan the latest Dan Brown thriller, Inferno, the Guardian included. Can you match the following scathing critiques to the one-star films that received them?

”Napalms the screen with waves of pornographic consumerist vulgarity…dredged directly from Tinseltown’s festering scrotum.”

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back

Entourage

The Intern

Ted 2

"The whole dreary business drags interminably on, with not a single amusing or ingenious idea in its echoing metal head: a cynical franchisebot, machine-tooled to clank into cinemas and gouge money out of people."

Avengers: Age of Ultron

Iron Man 3

Transformers: Age of Extinction

Terminator Genisys

"Could be one of those rare and terrifying serial killer cases where the psychotic culprit apparently intends to bore and embarrass everyone to death with bad acting."

Mad Max: what might we see in the sequels?

Mark Harrison Nov 16, 2016

Where next for the Mad Max movies? We consider the options, as George Miller looks to top Mad Max: Fury Road...

This feature contains spoilers for Mad Max: Fury Road.

“Where must we go, we who wander the wasteland, in search of our better selves?”

- The First History Man

When Mad Max: Fury Road came to cinemas last year, it was the culmination of a 15 year development process that encompassed recasting, budget problems, and a location change to a whole different continent. But out of the lengthy and troubled production came one of 2015's very best films, which earned universally positive reviews from critics and was nominated for ten Academy Awards, of which it won six.

Speculation about the next Mad Max movie has swirled ever since, especially as director George Miller has mentioned that they generated enough material making Fury Road to make two more movies,

Chris Hemsworth's Latest Instagram Will Make You Feel Bad For Anyone His Daughter Decides to Date
A video posted by Chris Hemsworth (@chrishemsworth) on Sep 9, 2016 at 5:01am Pdt Chris Hemsworth is known for his muscle-infused roles in movies like Thor, The Avengers, and The Huntsman: Winter's War, but he's really just a softie at heart. As dad to daughter India and twin boys Tristan and Sasha, Chris frequently posts heart-melting photos with his kids and his wife, Elsa Pataky. So when he shared a short video of himself boxing on Instagram on Friday, we couldn't help but think about how it could eventually carry over into his personal life. "Nothing better than physical exertion to clear the mind," he captioned the clip. "Any stress or thoughts from today , tomorrow , yesterday or years from now go out the window and your slammed into the present moment." While we can't get enough of his muscles, can you even imagine how intimidating he will be for anyone his

The Ice Queen Rises in Huntsman: Winter's War Blu-ray Preview | Exclusive
After the success of 2012's Snow White and the Huntsman, which took in $155.3 million domestically and $396.5 million from a $160 million budget, Universal Pictures decided to go in another direction for its follow-up. Instead of telling a sequel, the studio decided to go back before Snow White's story with the prequel The Huntsman: Winter's War. While fans get ready for the Blu-ray and DVD release tomorrow, we have an exclusive preview that introduces Emily Blunt's character, Freya.

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment provided us with this preview, which features Emily Blunt revealing more about her character, the Ice Queen. The actress teases that villains rarely have much back story, but she was quite pleased that there was such a rich origin for Freya. We also hear from her on-screen sister, Charlize Theron, who reveals how Freya goes on a journey to discover her power, while director Cedric Nicolas-Troyan describes Freya as the "beta" to Ravenna's alpha.
