"It's not Home Sweet Pineapple, But it Could Be Worse."
27 December 2012 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Home Sweet Rumble-There's already an episode with a similar name and plot from the first season, Home Sweet Pineapple. I reviewed both of them so I can compare them. Here's the season 8 review. SpongeBob's pineapple is wilting while he's trying to feed Gary, but has to see all the damage that happened at his house. He finds out that his house is very crappy and needs to find a way to fix it before the whole falls apart. His friends are happy to lend a hand in remodeling his house, but their interests just don't work right with SpongeBob. At one point in the episode, SpongeBob says "it's not home sweet pineapple, but it could be worse." I agree with him. The genuine humor stops in the middle of the episode and then we have SpongeBob trying to co-exist with his new house, where random hit and miss jokes are thrown in. The ending of this episode is a little cheesy and makes the ending in "Home Sweet Pineapple" less dramatic. I did laugh at Patrick's dream and how he unenthusiastically said "SpongeBob's house is boring. It's rotting today. We're doomed." This was an OK episode, but wasn't necessary.
