A custom made robot was built for the film. It included Bluetooth controlled robotic arms, robotic head with full animatronic mimicry and an ATR for complete mobility at different speeds.
A proprietary 3D rig built by the production company itself was used to film in high quality Stereoscopic 3D.

Basement scenes were made in an abandoned house believed to be haunted - and the robotic rig sporadically moved on itself several times throughout the shoot, giving the crew creeps.
William Haze who played both main characters had to wear a specially designed collar which was so tight he passed out several times and lost his voice for days. The collar had to be redesigned.
