"Krampus" is an American 8-minute short film from 3 years ago. The writer and director is George Dalphin and he is still making films these days. I hope he stepped things up since 2012 as this movie here looks very amateurish. It is actually tough to evaluate the acting (no offense to the actors, they can't carry a film like this) and script because of the low production values. Then again the final scene in the dark alley felt truly random and out of place with everything before. The story is about Krampus, a demon who awakes from long sleep and he was an equivalent to Santa in the past, the one who takes care of all the bad kids. I guess it is all about balance. Good kids vs bad kids. Krampus vs Santa. And good films vs. bad films. "Krampus" is one of the latter. Not recommended.
