Live from Lakeland, FL

The Giant says he has a surprise for Kevin Nash at Souled Out. It's called The Chokeslam. The Giant dismantled The Flock with chokeslams before Kevin Nash comes out and taunts The Giant. He throws hot coffee in his face.

Black Cat, Ohara & Gedo Vs The Steiner Brothers & Ray Traylor

Scott Steiner dominates the match by himself, furthering his self- absorbed slow build heel turn. That's all there is to say about this one.

3/4* out of 5

Ernest Miller Vs Yuji Nagata

I couldn't watch much because it kept delivering static. I'm not too upset, tbh. Ernest wins with a roundhouse kick

N/R

J.J Dillon says DDP won't compete tonight because of a mugging from the nWo. DDP comes out on crutches. DDP demands to wrestle tonight and even says he'll sign a piece of paper to get it done.

Scott Hall Vs Louie Spicoli

Louie Spicoli sucks up to Scott Hall, so Larry Zbyszko comes out and tells him to grow some balls, says Hall is afraid of him. Spicoli turns on Larry, but Larry avoids a double team.

Chris Jericho is getting MEGA heat. He says Rey Mysterio was saying stuff under his breath that only Jericho could hear and that's why he attacked him. Jericho says he hopes Mysterio wins the belt back and it will never happen again.

Eddie Guerrero Vs Chris Jericho

Jericho wins with the Liontamer. This was way too short. It was solid while it lasted, though.

** out of 5

Goldberg destroys Disco Inferno & Chavo Guerrero Jr.

Hollywood Hogan & Eric Bischoff make their way down. It was having audio difficulty. Hogan didn't really say anything new, just that Sting is a coward and they want J.J Dillon to give them the belt back next Monday on Nitro.

Cruiserweight Title

Juventud Guerrera (C) Vs Rey Mysterio

Mysterio wins the title with a Huricanrana. What a match! They got some time to deliver and boy did they ever. Near fall after near fall. Mysterio played the face in peril for the most part, allowing Juvi to deliver some spectacular offense. Mysterio and Juvi really went toe to toe in the last 5 minutes. Great stuff!

***3/4 out of 5

'Macho Man' Randy Savage & Kevin Nash Vs Lex Luger & DDP

Hogan attacks DDP's injured leg before the match with a crutch. Chaos commences after Savage starts brawling with Kevin Nash, while Hogan tries to play peacemaker. Luger ends up racking Hogan and Luger, then Hogan accidentally nails Savage. The Giant chokeslams Hogan and Savage, but the rest of the nWo gang up on Luger and The Giant. Sting makes the save, and he, The Giant and Luger stave off the heels.

This episode of Thunder was a blast! It was slowly but surely setting up for nWo Wolfpac to come along. Many fun things happened on this show, including a great match between Juventud Guerrera and Rey Mysterio. See it if you can.

7.5/10
