Finally settling into a well written and well acted show • 8.5/10
19 April 2013 | by (Influx Magazine - dearboss@influxmagazine.com) – See all my reviews

Mads Mikkelsen, for me was the logically obvious choice for Lecter because he has that certain "something" that an actor would need to play a deeply complicated role such as this. As well as his looks he has a certain 'bearing' and method of delivery which along with his Western European accent sell his performance as the very (in)famous cannibal Dr Hannibal Lecter. Hugh Dancy wasn't someone I'd have considered as Will Graham but he's proved himself with excellent performances as the complicated FBI Profiler.

This episode has got the others beat with a nice follow up to the first episodes Antler killer. This is all about the surviving daughter but I'm not saying any more than that other than to say that the acting is once again solid by the whole cast and also that everyone gets a chance to get a few lines in. A decent episode.

Highly Recommended
