Not much happened in this episode if you are looking for an action, adventure, science-fiction show.
If you want to know how Noah Wylie feels about Will Patton, then you will get a touching scene at the end of the show, when Patton is falling asleep next to Wylie.
If you want to know why Wylie's son is a defective alien hybrid, you will be disappointed. The little bicycle lights on the back of the kid's neck light up, and he is communicating with the skitters, but he can't really talk about it. "Just trust me, Dad," says the skitter who looks like Justin Bieber.
The only positive moment in this episode is when the nasty little kid, Rick, is found among a bunch of dead skitters. Rick is the kid who stopped loving his father after he got harnessed, and who eventually broke out of camp last season. Rick is in full carnal communication with the skitters now, and he has a message for the losers of the hillbilly yahoo camp known as 2nd Mass.
Without revealing any spoilers, let's say that thanks to Rick, there is a happy ending to this episode.
