At long last, Eddie Murphy is set to reprise his role as street-smart cop Axel Foley in the fourth instalment of the Beverly Hills Cop franchise, which is set to hit Netflix this summer. But, it isn’t easy being a middle aged action star. It’s been nearly thirty years since we last saw Eddie Murphy as Axel Foley, and in a recent interview with People Magazine he admitted that the shoot was a “rough one”.“I did Axel Foley when I was in my 20s. I am not in my 20s anymore,” he said. At any rate, Murphy won’t be the only aged actor from the original to show up, with many of the classic Beverly Hills Cop cast members are set to join him in Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley. Here’s everything we know about Beverly Hills Cop 4!

“Intentional” is a word that comes up quite a bit when talking to Teyana Taylor about “A Thousand and One,” the feature debut by writer-director A.V. Rockwell in which the Harlem-native plays Inez, a woman who kidnaps her son from the foster care system in an attempt for them both to have a fresh start in a rapidly changing New York City.
The opportunity to star in the Focus Features release came at a major turning point in Taylor’s career, when she had just had her second child, was battling postpartum depression, and “was in a space where I felt like the people that I love most were not showing up for me, especially the people that’s supposed to make sure I have what I need,” Taylor said to IndieWire over Zoom.

There’ll be some happy holidays on Prime Video in December, as the streamer’s seasonal offerings hope to keep the fires warm in your home this month!
As such, there are quite a few new original holiday movies coming to the service. At the beginning of the month, Eddie Murphy stars in Candy Cane Lane. In this film, the Beverly Hills Cop and Coming to America star plays a determined man who is willing to go above and beyond to win the annual Christmas home decoration contest in his neighborhood – even if it means making a very magical deal.
The DC universe will also be getting festive in December thanks to Merry Little Batman, an animated feature that sees Batman’s son, Damian Wayne, stumble upon a villainous plot on Christmas eve, one that may give him a chance to save the day when his dad isn’t around.

The choice of music in a TV show is a significant factor.
A well-conceptualized opening sequence accompanied by a great song can be more memorable than the TV show itself.
We have compiled 20 excellent opening theme songs to which one cannot help but move their body. And if they don't, their mind does the work for them.
20. I Don't Wanna Wait by Paula Cole on Dawson's Creek
The song marries well with the show's theme about a bunch of teens trying to figure life out. They don't wait for life to pass them by.
The opening sequence has the cast being playful and carefree in places around their town as Paula sings the lyrics.
You watch it several times and soon feel like part of the group.
It is easily one of the most recognizable opening songs ever.

Exclusive: Vertical Entertainment has acquired North American rights to Chris Naoki Lee’s feature directorial debut, Dinner Party, in which he stars alongside Kara Wang (Top Gun: Maverick), Imani Hakim (Mythic Quest) and Kausar Mohammed (The Flash). The global indie distributor has slated the pic for a day-and-date release on August 19.
Inspired by Lee’s own experiences growing up in a diverse community outside of Los Angeles, the indie ensemble drama follows Izzy (Hakim) and boyfriend Cal (Lee) as they go to a casual reunion dinner party amongst Cal’s childhood friends 10 years after high school. The friends navigate socially sensitive topics, though some fall on deaf ears when it comes to the hyper-masculine Miles (Charles Hittinger). It doesn’t take long for Izzy to notice that Shannon (Wang), co-host and childhood friend to the boys, seems uncomfortable around Miles, as the film simmers into a slow burn that erupts in the final act.

The energy on the waters of San Juan’s Balneario de Carolina on March 24 was majestic but stormy. Tropical rain and wind buffeted the opening night of Afro Nation Puerto Rico, muddying the festival grounds and sending some festivalgoers ducking for cover while others danced in the mist. But another storm was brewing among attendees of the three-day event that billed itself as “the world’s biggest Afrobeats festival”: For many of the fans standing in the rain, the artists they’d traveled to see weren’t on the island at all.

JoJo Siwa’s “Bounce,” which had Will Smith as a producer, has been bounced off Paramount’s development slate, TheWrap has learned.
The project, which would have marked the YouTuber and “Dancing with the Stars” contestant’s big-screen feature debut, fell apart months ago and is unrelated to Smith slapping presenter Chris Rock during the Oscars ceremony last month.
Last year, Siwa came out as part of the LGBTQ community to her millions of followers via social media, which she said was a move encouraged by her girlfriend.
Siwa was named one of Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in 2020 and competed on “Dancing With the Stars” last year, making history as the first contestant to dance with a same-sex partner. She also served as creative director and executive producer of the E! reality competition series “Siwa’s Dance Pop Revolution.”

The Dancing With the Stars season 30 winner is Iman Shumpert! After 10 weeks of grueling competition, Shumpert managed to salsa, jive, and tango his way to the coveted mirrorball trophy on Monday night. Shumpert and his partner, Daniella Karagach, had stiff competition with Amanda Kloots and Alan Bersten, Cody Rigsby and Cheryl Burke, and JoJo Siwa and Jenna Johnson. Shumpert and Karagach performed a freestyle routine set to "Lose Control" by Missy Elliott feat. Ciara and Fatman Scoop and DJ Cent's "Bounce" as their finale number before being declared the season's champions.
Shumpert is the seventh NBA player to compete on DWTS, but he is the first winner! Winning the competition was extra special for Shumpert, because his mom, L'tanya, is a huge fan of the show. "He especially wanted to do it for me because he knows I like that show, and because I'm always telling him he's much more than a basketball player,...

It’s time for the last dance(s) on “Dancing with the Stars” Season 30. The final four couples will face off for the final time on Monday with two routines — and in a twist, one of them is not their favorite dance of the season.
Instead, the remaining four pairs will perform a fusion dance of two styles in addition to their highly anticipated freestyles before a couple is crowned. Three of the four fusions feature the cha-cha, with Amanda Kloots and Alan Bersten the odd ones out. Probably could’ve gotten a bit more variety in there.
See the full list of dances below.
Amanda Kloots and Alan Bersten: Viennese waltz and paso doble fusion (“Never Tear Us Apart” by Bishop Briggs); freestyle (“A Sky Full of Stars” by Coldplay)
Cody Rigsby and Cheryl Burke: paso doble and cha-cha fusion (“Free Your Mind” by En Vogue); freestyle

Taylour Paige was not familiar with A’Ziah “Zola” King when she auditioned to play her in “Zola,” the film based on King’s October 2015 viral Twitter thread, but she has since corresponded with her on social media. The thread (and film) tells the tale of a crazy weekend during which Zola, an exotic dancer, embarks on a road trip to strip in Florida with new friend Stefani (Riley Keough) and Stefani’s cohorts — a clueless boyfriend (Nicolas Braun) and a temperamental pimp (Colman Domingo). “Zola” premiered at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival, receiving rave reviews for the performances and for co-writer/director Janicza Bravo. It premieres in theaters on June 30.
Paige came to the role with plenty of dance experience: At age 12 she was touring with Debbie Allen, and she previously starred in the scripted VH1 show “Hit the Floor,” about dance cheerleaders for a fictional L.A. basketball team.

Not to mention Mack has always loved a good chunky sweater and being in bed by 8 pm. While at her best friend’s bachelorette in Palm Springs, Mack stumbles...
