We've had a couple teaser trailers for The Woman in Black: Angel of Death, but today comes the first full trailer for the upcoming UK release while I have to assume the first domestic trailer will arrive sometimes this week as well if not later today as it will probably show in front of Ouija this weekend. Set for release on January 2, 2015, The Woman in Black 2 is the sequel to the 2012 release which starred Daniel Radcliffe, who isn't returning for this one. Instead it will be Jeremy Irvine (War Horse), Helen McCrory (Skyfall) and Phoebe Fox (Switch) leading the charge in the 1941-set story, beginning as London is in the midst of the blitz, and two teachers evacuate a group of schoolchildren to the abandoned Eel Marsh House. Hammer Films and Entertainment One have debuted the first teaser trailer for The Woman in Black: Angel of Death, director Tom Harper’s follow-up to the Daniel Radcliffe-headlined 2012 horror smash The Woman in Black.

Picking up the story some four decades later, Angel of Death says goodbye to Radcliffe, instead featuring a cast that includes Phoebe Fox (Switch), Jeremy Irvine (The Railway Man), Helen McCrory (Penny Dreadful), Adrian Rawlins (Harry Potter), Oaklee Pendergast (The Impossible), Amelia Pidgeon (3096 Days) and Jude Wright (Spy).

BBC America Announces Dylan Thomas Film from Screenwriter Andrew Davies

BBC America has acquired A Poet in New York, a film about Dylan Thomas’ final days. The drama is written by Andrew Davies, BBC’s venerable screenwriter most acclaimed for the 1995 Pride and Prejudice as well as more recent well-received series like House of Cards and Little Dorrit.  It features several beloved BBC actors, with Tom Hollander (Rev., Pride and Prejudice) as Dylan Thomas and Essie Davis (Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries) as his wife. Ewen Bremner (TrainspottingPage Eight), and Phoebe Fox (SwitchNew Tricks) co-star.

The film will premiere this fall on BBC America and is directed by Aisling Walsh (Room at the Top, Loving Miss Hatto).

Tointon sisters join cast of Mr Selfridge

The Selfridge children are all grown up in the third series of Mr Selfridge, which picks up in 1919 just after the end of World War I.

In the new series which is about to start filming in London,  the role of Harry’s eldest daughter, Rosalie, (played by Poppy Lee Friar in Series 1 and 2) is taken over by Kara Tointon. Kara (represented by Curtis Brown) played Dawn Swann in Eastenders for four years and won Strictly Come Dancing in 2010.

Kara’s real-life sister, Hannah Tointon, plays her rebellious sister, Violette in a move that sees the sisters acting together for the first time. 26 year old Hannah (represented by Independent Talent) played Katy Fox in Hollyoaks and more recently starred in Switch on ITV2 and BBC's The Hour.
