- The main villain's plot is to poison the town's water supply by making the water so sour that people's heads implode. He demonstrates this on an innocent citizen. We later see it happen to two characters, and it is implied that it becomes widespread.
- Many punches are thrown for a comic-book effect.
- One character dies by falling into a vat of boiling hot chocolate (off-screen).
- Because this is a play, there is no blood or gore.
