Don't waste your time
ahujamk16 May 2012
Don't waste your time. That was 90 minutes of my life I will never get back. I only kept watching hoping it would get better. The holes all through the plot line and obvious errors in settings made it even worse. This was absolutely the worst found footage film ever. the make-up looked like it was done by a high school student for Halloween. the sets were just awful. Did they even write a script for this? This could have been a good movie if it was done by someone who knew what they were doing and these,(and I use this term loosely)film makers had no clue. I was hoping for a fun ride with this movie but I would be asking for my money back if I had paid to see this terrible movie

Unwatchable garbage...

Warning: Spoilers
I don't even know what to say. The title sounded alright, but when all was said and done, "Fetish Dolls Die Laughing" sucked a colossal pile of rancid warthog balls. This flick pretty much did every conceivable thing wrong that one could do when making a meager-budgeted horror movie...

Some small, bearded, bald guy runs around kidnapping and tying up various women who provoke his rabid foot fetish. He likes to tickle them (while referring to himself as "The Tickle Monster") until they bleed out and die... Ugh. There's also a pair of detectives looking for him.

The biggest problem with this thing is that it's TOO f*cking LONG without enough plot or interesting material to support or justify it's length. It's really just the same thing over and over again and I started getting annoyed watching this guy sucking on the toes of average to unattractive-looking chicks in a greatly redundant sequence of pointless scenes. There's basically no gore to speak of, aside from the usual, half-assed squirt-bottle of fake blood just off screen. Clearly, this movie was going for the 'intentionally campy', look how crazy we're being, Herschell Gordon Lewis-influenced appeal, but it all just sucks and looks like countless other digitally shot, DIY horror flicks out there. And the "silliness" of the fetish killer didn't mesh too well with the equally boring scenes of the two cops adding the 'serious' element to the "story". One thing I would like for you indie horror hack film-makers to quit doing is trying to incorporate detectives and crime-solving motifs into your already sh|ttily structured low-budget bore-fest. You're not David Fincher, you imbeciles! Stop it!

So, yeah... There's nothing about "Fetish Dolls Die Laughing" that's worth checking out. It's total sh|t.

Awful from start to finish

Warning: Spoilers
To say that this film is bad is a huge understatement. From awful acting to even worse production values this belongs on everyone's worst films watched list. The story, while thin, could have been worth seeing. However, the people involved had no idea how to develop anything. Fom amateurish acting to bad special effects this one just missed in every way. I've seen low budget movies that were far superior to this one. Crazed tickle fetish monster captures and kills some plain looking women after properly restraining them. As stated in the title they die laughing. A couple of detectives try to find the tickle monster but can't seem to figure out who the culprit is. By the time they do you will be thankful that the end of this film is near.

I do wish that I could give an A for effort, but not sure that much went into this undertaking. Would like to see this story done by more capable people with more money to spend to get it done right..

Save your time and money for something else.

Needs Work

It's an intriguing idea, the actors give fairly good performances, but the cinematography is amateurish, and the script should probably have been gone-over at least one more time before they started filming.

The direction actually isn't half-bad, but the bad camera- and sound-work makes it hard to appreciate, particularly in the outdoors scenes.

The FX aren't spectacular, but they're not bad either.

Overall, I'd call it a good effort on a low budget: I would like to have seen it if they'd had the money for proper sound equipment and taken the time to do things right.
