"Pond Life" sounds like a nature documentary or very early Disney cartoon, but actually it is a little add-on to the famous "Doctor Who" franchise from 3 years ago. There are many short movies about the series, but this one here is certainly not among the best. I guess you can see it as a 5-part mini-series with each part (month) running for one minute, but I'd rather describe it as a 5-minute short film. I am not too big on Arthur Darvill and Matt Smith I must say. They are bearable, but no particularly talented actors in my opinion. Karen Gillan, on the other hand, is downright bad in everything I have seen her in so far and it baffles me what a great career she is having at the moment. Anyway, this little movie here is a decent watch for all "Soctor Who" fans, but I myself cannot say that I enjoyed this particularly. It sure did not get me interested in the series. thumbs down.
