In June, Nickelodeon star Cody Longo ("Hollywood Heights") was arrested for DUI, after repeatedly flashing his high beams at another driver. The cop who pulled him over determined Longo was under the influence and he was taken into custody where he blew over twice the legal limit of 0.8. He was later released on bond.
TMZ is reporting that Longo has struck a plea bargain that will help him avoid jail time. He must plead no contest to one count of DUI and in exchange, he is required to attend 10 alcohol education classes and is put on three years probation.

And it's trouble for yet another Nickelodeon star: Cody Longo, who currently stars in the Nick at Nite show "Hollywood Heights," has been sentenced to alcohol education classes after being charged with a DUI. TMZ reports the 25-year-old former child actor was pulled over by cops in June after demonstrating suspicious driving behavior; he was then arrested and taken into custody in Los Angeles.
As part of the plea deal, Longo avoids jail time. In addition to alcohol education classes, the website reports, he will be expected to complete 10 Alcohol Anonymous classes and was sentenced to three years summary probation.

Shannon Kane is headed for New Orleans.
According to E! News, the former All My Children star will portray Sabine a tour guide named Sabine on The Originals. The character is described as wild, bold and sexy.
And, oh, she's also a witch.
Kane is best known for her 172-episode turn as Natalia Fowler on the aforementioned soap opera. She most recently appeared in the series Hollywood Heights as Traci Madsen.

Longo himself seemed to allude to the incident in a post Friday morning to his Twitter page. "Everything is fine. I Love you guys. Do not worry, stories always get exaggerated..." he tweeted. He then added: "Wtf is wrong with people??"

Law enforcement sources say Longo was driving erratically -- flashing lights at other cars, following too close -- so he was pulled over, where the cops smelled alcohol and administered field sobriety tests, which Longo failed.
One source says Longo's blood alcohol level was .19 and .20, which is more than twice the legal limit of 0.8. Longo was arrested and later released on a $15,000 bond.

"Pretty Little Liars" is known for bringing new faces to Rosewood each season and Season 4 is no different. We first spotted the new face in the pictures that were released earlier this month of the Season 4 premiere, "A is for A-l-i-v-e," identified as actor Wyatt Nash in the photo caption.
Now Zap2it can reveal just who this new mystery man is. Nash has been cast as Nigel, who accompanies Jenna to the funeral in the premiere, then reappears in episode 7, titled "Crash and Burn, Girl!"
ABC Family tells us that Nigel is "savvy, charming and confident." And while Nigel "may have a darker side," we won't see his darker nature on the surface. Nash has previously been on "1600 Penn" and "Hollywood Heights."
