Candid Comments from a Travelling Aussie Journalist

There is something really great about getting a sneak peek inside the production of any given work. Fresh from having just interviewed a range of different Television and Big screen actors across America, I had a chance meeting with actors Byron Cherry and friend Traci Loper who were on their way to shoot this movie. A few days later, once my work was complete, I found myself sitting in a small bar (on set) watching the filming of this movie. Much in the same way that all directors will talk about the importance of the off-screen chemistry being as vital as the on-screen stuff, these guys were cutting a pretty good groove with each other in both forums. With Hurricane Isaac ripping up the coast not far from the shoot, they could easily be forgiven for letting the weather best them...but it didn't. This movie certainly is not for the tear jerker, but more for the person who wants to be thrilled a little. While I'm yet to see the polished product, I wait with baited breath as my gut feeling tells me this is going to be....entertaining in all the right ways - and lets face it, 'gut feeling' as a key term took off for a reason, so I'm going to give this a pre-determined 8 because the synergies were right on target for me. Watch this space. Yours Aye. Darren Gallagher
