| Plot Summary |
Veeru a struggling music director is returning to his village with his older brother Vasanta and his wife after many years to celebrate Diwali at their ancestral home they are also accompanied by their friends Sushu and Mukta.Upon reaching they re visit their childhood where their mother Shardha dominated the house and father Deshmukh Patil could not speak against her and he also had relationship with lower caste women Kamli.Vasanta regrets loosing his love Shaku who belonged to a lower caste as his mother did not permit their marriage later she disappeared suddenly from village.While Veeru had close relationship with Shaku's sister Kalyani.Vasanta feels that currently there is nothing left for them in village as they have lost their land and the ancestral house is deteriorating and calls a Uttam to deal with the property.But Vasanta's wife is in no mood to sell the house and decides to keep their legacy.
