What’s more horrifying than vampires, psychos, or zombies? Family gatherings, as we saw in this week’s Inside No. 9...
This review contains spoilers.
2.5 Nana's Party
This week’s episode of Inside No. 9, the second of this series to be directed by Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith, took as its setting something that’s bound to induce a shiver down most spines – a family birthday party. The kind of enforced fun where only one person, at the most, actually wants to be there, and every hug between family members (hardly) hides years of petty resentments. Pemberton and Shearsmith have picked some incredibly scary places for both series one and two – a housebreak, a creepy old mansion, a locked wardrobe – but Nana’s Party shows that the domestic is what’s really dangerous, and a person’s loved ones can be the cruellest.

What an adorable duo! Katie Holmes took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a rare and candid photo with 8-year-old daughter Suri Cruise. In the pic, the cute twosome is seen playing dress up with some silly accessories. Sporting hot pink boas and orange sunglasses, the mother and daughter pair make funny faces at each other. "#humpDAAAY!!!!!" the "Dawson's Creek" alum captioned the pic. She also shared another shot of their hands covered in fake jewelry, captioning that one "Some serious bling #party city." While Tom Cruise continues to be Mia, Katie has been seen with Suri all over the place lately. The two recently went to Disneyland and also attended the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards together last month -- where they really seemed like they were having a blast! See more photos of them at that event in the gallery below: Suri turns 9 on April 18th; wonder what Holmes »

For five seasons now, war has raged over which Game of Thrones character will ultimately sit on the Iron Throne and save the seven kingdoms from endless war and long walking journeys to find people. While the folk of Westeros may be able to put up with this state of affairs, we here at Hifix have decided enough is enough. And so with the power vested in us by the untied Recappers Society of the Galaxy, we are taking matters into our own hands and turning the decision over to you. As contrary as it might be to the land of dragons, we’re bringing democracy to the Game of Thrones. We have gathered nine of the most gifted orators in the known world to make statements defending the various claimants to the Iron Throne. Read their statements, and the rebuttals below, and then cast your ballot at the end of the arguments. »

Avengers: Rage of Ultron
Written by Rick Remender
Art by Jerome Opena, Pepe Larraz, Mark Morales
Published by Marvel Comics
You might have heard of this tiny little film called Avengers: Age of Ultron hitting theaters on May 1st. Marvel wanted to prep casual readers and hardcore readers alike and published a bold, game-changing, original graphic novel about everyone’s favorite robot overlord, Ultron.
Rage of Ultron opens up with the Avengers battling Ultron in a time only classified as “then”. The team lineup of the classic Avengers with Vision, Scarlet Witch, and Beast in tow are trying to stop Ultron (with strings attached!) in the New York city streets. Beast and Hawkeye are the comedic duo throughout the early battle, and writer Rick Remender makes them hit all the right quips all the while dodging Ultron and his blasts. Jerome Opena handles the art duties for this section and owns it. »

Happy "Mad Men" day! The Emmy-winning drama returns for its final season (or half-season, if you're playing along with AMC's silliness) tonight at 10. As preparation for these last seven episodes, here are all the "Mad Men" stories we've run over the last few weeks: * Matthew Weiner looking back at the beginning, and end, of his baby; * Memories from Jon Hamm, plus a Jerry Lewis impression; * John Slattery with a few tonsorial spoilers for the final season; * Vincent Kartheiser on the highs and lows of Pete; * Predictions on how the show might end from both TV critics and a few showrunners; * My thoughts about how "Mad Men" chronicled one revolution while being part of another; * An insane ranking of every single Peggy Olson outfit ever by Katie Hasty and Louis Virtel (who have no appreciation for either the "vixen by night" outfit or the purple dress she wears when she quits). Enjoy. »

“Mad Men” begins its final stretch of episodes on Sunday night at 10 on AMC, and we asked a handful of TV critics, as well as several TV producers (some of whom have had experience ending their own shows) to predict what might happen when all is said and done for Don Draper and friends. Some took the assignment very seriously. Some opted for the ridiculous. Some fell in between. Damon Lindelof (Co-creator, "Lost"/"The Leftovers") There is a knock on Pete's door. He answers. There's a ten year old child standing there in a suit. "Hello, father..." he says, "I just want you to know that I am going to write a television show one day. And my portrayal of you will Not be flattering." Pete runs his hand through his receding hairline, shaken, but imperious. "What's your name, little boy?" The bastard son glares at his father, "Matthew." he says. »

Katie Couric made quite the entrance on The Late Late Show with James Corden when she stopped by to chat with the host on Wednesday. She almost gave James a heart attack after it appeared that she had tumbled down the stairs while trying to fix her heels. The entire studio was silent as James ran from his seat to help Katie, saying, "Are you Ok? Wait, wait, wait . . . " - only to realize that it was a stunt double and that Katie had pulled an April Fools' prank on him. James fell to the ground laughing and told Katie it was an amazing prank, but he shared what he was really thinking as he watched her fall. Watch his priceless reaction, then check out why James Corden is killing it as the host of The Late Late Show. »
Sizzling in hot pink! Being Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise's daughter comes with awesome perks, and Suri Cruise cashed in big time on Saturday. The adorable young lady, who will celebrate her ninth birthday next month, had a ball with her mom and a pal at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards in La. The highlight of her night came when paper blimp cutouts were unleashed. Little Suri couldn't contain her excitement, throwing her arms up and smiling like a kid in a candy store. Meanwhile, her proud mom was beaming while holding her mini me. The star-studded night got even cuter, thanks to Angelina Jolie's sweet moments with two of her and husband Brad Pitt's kids, Zahara and Shiloh. Katie and Suri's rare public appearance together follows reports that Katie may have struck up a casual romance with Jamie Foxx, one of her long-term pals. Relationship chatter aside, it's been a transformative time for Katie. »
Like mother, like daughter! Katie Holmes took to Instagram to share a sweet snapshot with daughter Suri Cruise, standing in front of the mirror together for some special "girltime." In the pic, the actress and her mini-me are both applying makeup as they stand alongside one of Katie's pals. Even though the 8-year-old's face is covered, we love to see a rare glimpse of the young brunette beauty! The "Dawson's Creek" alum has been creating a lot of buzz about her personal life, after rumors started swirling that she's dating Jamie Foxx. While the 36-year-old star hasn't confirmed the romance, she is open about her love for her daughter. "The most important thing for me is letting her know how proud I am and her accomplishments mean everything," she said during an appearance on "Today" last year. "Whatever I do is whatever. It's really just about her. That's what I think is most important. »

The new comedy "Get Hard" stars Kevin Hart as an unlikely coach who trains Will Ferrell for a stint in prison. In one scene, Hart insists that Ferrell go to a top La brunch spot and give oral sex to a random patron in the bathroom to learn -- I guess? -- the mechanics of prison rape. Yes, this movie equates consensual gay sexual activity with actual rape. Cut to Will Ferrell in a restaurant bathroom gagging at the sight of a penis for the amusement of a multiplex audience. Could it be the most homophobic scene in a comedy of the past ten years? It's certainly a candidate. To commemorate this weirdly ignorant movie, we've compiled a list: movies with homophobic scenes so blatant, they made us shudder. Sometimes a movie reeks of homophobia (See: that ol' heart-warmer "Cruising") and sometimes it's just a couple of moments in a »

Candice Bergen is not about to apologize for gaining 30 pounds in 15 years.
"Let me just come right out and say it: I am fat," she writes, as the Today show reported on Monday, previewing their interview with her on April 7. "I live to eat. None of this 'eat to live' stuff for me."
"I am a champion eater," she jokes. "No carb is safe -- no fat, either."

In what's sure to be controversial, the former model also seemingly jokes about bulimia.

Are they or aren't they?! That's been the ongoing question when it comes to Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx. It was just a few days ago that romance rumors between this famous pair were sparked up again after a report claimed the stars have "been hooking up on the Dl" for the past year and a half. Both Holmes and Foxx remained mum on the speculation at the time, but now the Annie star has spoken! Foxx was caught by a paparazzo while walking back to his car in Los Angeles, and he asked the celeb about Katie. "Oh come on, you guys have been trying to get that to stick for three years," Foxx responded. When asked for clarification, Jamie reassured the shutterbug that the two are "just »
Jamie Foxx was more than happy to stop for photogs Friday so he could shoot down stories that he's dating Katie Holmes. Foxx was at an Atm in Westlake when he was asked about the reported relationship, and he joked that the tabloids have been trying to make that a story for 3 years. Jamie said -- and we've independently confirmed -- he was around Katie quite a bit recently for an animation project they are »

Insurgent is a relentlessly exasperating sci-fi film made, miraculously, with a half-baked imagination, a slaughtered wit, and insufferable direction by Robert Schwentke, the man who supplied 2013 with one its biggest flops, R.I.P.D.
You know something’s gone very wrong when a blue dress outacts Kate Winslet in this adaptation of Veronica Roth’s second novel in the bestselling Divergent series. Ms. Winslet is not at fault alone here. I own a Swingline stapler that makes more of an impression than many of her costars, especially Naomi Watts, Octavia Spencer, and Daniel Dae Kim.
(This non-acting by the way-over-30 crowd in teen-oriented, “the future-doesn’t-look-so-hot” epics seems to be trending. Other recent examples include Meryl Streep and Katie Homes in The Giver and Harrison Ford and Viola Davis in Ender’s Game. Here’s possibly a ploy to win over the hearts and dollars of the prepubescent by reaffirming their belief that adults are nonessential, »

This week, sources confirmed to People that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have been spending time together for more than a year, and Us Weekly shared an exclusive picture of the pair holding hands - but where did this all begin? As the sources explained, "This is not some intense romance," adding, "They are two adults who are attractive and single, and so apparently conclusions will be drawn." In any case, the pair have been friends for years, so the connection isn't too surprising. Katie and Jamie have more than a few mutual friends, and over the past decade, they've attended many of the same events, first sparking romance rumors when they linked up at a Hamptons party in 2013. As dating rumors continue to swirl, look back on Katie and Jamie's friendship, then check out celebrity couples you may have forgotten about. »
Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx certainly would make an attractive couple, and romance rumors have been surrounding these two for what seems like forever now (aka since 2013)... Now, the latest Us Weekly report claims the stars have "been hooking up on the Dl" for the past year-and-a-half. (Jamie's rep declined to comment on the report, while Katie's did not immediately respond to E! News' request for comment.) In any case, though, neither Katie nor Jamie seem all that concerned by the gossip! The Giver star, 36, is much more focused on her dance workout—she Instagrammed an impressive video of herself "Kicking into Wednesday" this morning. And Jamie, 47? He's got music to »
The two's alleged romance started in August 2013, when the 47-year-old Annie star reportedly wooed the former Dawson's Creek actress, 36, at the 4th annual Apollo in the Hamptons bash. Now, more than a year and a half later, Us Weekly reports that the two have been discreetly hooking up, and has the first photo of the attractive pair holding hands.
In the flirty picture, Jamie is looking at Katie while she appears to be reading something on her phone, the two also playing a little footsie.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes want nothing to do with each other ... to the point they don't speak to one another, even about Suri. Sources close to both Tom and Katie tell us they do not communicate at all. There are no direct co-parenting discussions. Everything regarding Suri -- visitation, child-rearing, etc. -- is handled through intermediaries. Our sources say there are bad feelings on both sides, and no desire on either Tom or Katie's part to mend fences. »

There have long been rumors that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are linked romantically ... so are they actually an item? In this week's issue of People, multiple sources confirm the pair have been spending time together for well over a year - but it's nothing serious. "This is not some intense romance," a source with knowledge of the situation tells People. "Jamie and Katie are friends and have been for a long time. They are two adults who are attractive and single, and so apparently conclusions will be drawn." Adds the source: "But contrary to those conclusions, they're not about »
