10 hours ago | Popsugar.com | See recent Popsugar news »

A post shared by Katie Holmes (@katieholmes212) on Dec 17, 2015 at 2:53pm Pst Suri Cruise might be just 10 years old, but even she understood the gravity surrounding Hillary Clinton's loss in November. While appearing on Jenna Bush Hager's SiriusXM Today show radio special, The Jenna Bush Hager Show!, Katie Holmes opened up about how devastated she and her daughter were after the results of the election were revealed. "I thought Hillary was going to win this year, and it just hurt so badly when she didn't," the 38-year-old actress said. "I know that it hurt my child so much as a 10-year-old, and it really made me think, 'Oh, we have a lot . . . a long way to go as women.'" Katie, who has been raising Suri by herself and even introduced her look-alike daughter to Hillary and Chelsea Clinton in 2015, has been vocal about her support of women's rights, »

Colony Season 2 Episode 11 Review: Lost Boy

23 March 2017 8:02 PM, PDT | TVfanatic | See recent TVfanatic news »

Now That was an ending.

For some reason, that ending didn't even cross my mind while watching Colony Season 2 Episode 11, but now I fear for the lives of Will, Katie, Gracie and Charlie.

A "Lost Boy" with that much emptiness in his eyes won't have much care for his blood relatives in the long run. He's on a new, exciting path.

At this point in the story, I don't even know where I stand anymore. Everything has become so confusing.

Not confusing as to the need to fight against the Raps, that's a given. What's become confusing is the how. During Colony Season 1 when Katie and Will were on different pages, it genuinely seemed like a moral dilemma.

But now that we know a couple new things, such as the colony being marked for extinction and the ease in which the entire thing can go up in a puff of smoke, »

RaeLynn’s Ready: 5 Years After ‘The Voice,’ Blake Shelton’s Protege is Finally Making Her Big Debut

23 March 2017 7:30 AM, PDT | Entertainment Tonight | See recent Entertainment Tonight news »

Allow RaeLynn to reintroduce herself.

It's been more than five years since the country darling first caught Blake Shelton's ear with her Pistol Annies-inspired blind audition on The Voice's second season.  "I heard this voice start to sing, and it was familiar, but it was also like something I'd never heard before," Shelton tells Et. "Instantly, she looked like a star standing there -- an unexplainable thing that she has about her that separates her from everybody else in the world."

Then just 17 years old, competing for Team Blake, RaeLynn was ultimately sent home by her coach during the competition's quarterfinals. And that's when the real work began.

"I went straight back to Nashville, started writing Monday through Friday, then got my butt in a van," the 22-year-old tells Et. "I went to every country radio station in the U.S., got ready in gas stations, lived off Starbucks and Chick-fil-a -- that's how it »

‘Teachers’: Why Six Bold Women Named Katie Aren’t Afraid to Get Ugly for Great Comedy

22 March 2017 2:29 PM, PDT | Indiewire Television | See recent Indiewire Television news »

If you’re wondering what the future of women in comedy might look like, consider Caitlin Barlow’s armpits. “We’re painting my armpit hair on for this episode,” she said to IndieWire. “I grew it out for a week, but it wasn’t dark enough.”

That’s just one example of the sort of creative choice made regularly in the course of making “Teachers,” the bold, profane and hilarious comedy created by sketch comedy group the Katydids and executive produced by Ian Roberts and Jay Martel (“Key and Peele”). Having just wrapped the first half of its second season, the TV Land series features Katydids members Barlow, Katy Colloton, Cate Freedman, Kate Lambert, Katie O’Brien and Kathryn Renee Thomas as an eclectic group of educators who work at an elementary school, doing their best not to warp young minds with their outrageous behavior.

22 March 2017 11:34 AM, PDT | PEOPLE.com | See recent PEOPLE.com news »

Katie Couric, award-winning journalist, philanthropist and global anchor for Yahoo! News, has a funny side.

While on set of her online cooking show, Full Plate with Katie & John, Couric cracked herself up with more than one dirty joke about food. “Let’s take a leek,” she said during an interview with Bon Appétit as she washed the veggie. When it came time to steam her eggs for a lentil dish, she joked, “they’re easy but not too easy—like me.”

See Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney’s Stunningly Simple Wedding Cake: ‘It Was Symbolic of Our Unity’

It’s been an emotional, tequila-fueled rollercoaster leading up Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz‘s nuptials on Vanderpump Rules, but the ceremony itself was nothing but sweet.

“It was a fairytale wedding,” Maloney tells People ahead of Monday night’s episode. “It was without a doubt the happiest day of my life,” adds Schwartz. “This coming from a guy who’s pretty cynical about the institution of marriage.”

Though the bride splurged on a $15,000 Zuhair Murad dress for their Aug. 18 wedding, the couple kept it decidedly simpler when it came to their cake—and they even transported it themselves from L. »

Exclusive: 'Scandal' Star Katie Lowes on Battling Psoriasis & Being 'Auntie' to Kerry Washington's Babies!

Kerry Washington's kids are beloved on the set of Scandal!

ABC star Katie Lowes stopped by Et for a Facebook Live interview on Thursday, and in addition to opening up about her ongoing battle with psoriasis, and Scandal's upcoming 100th episode, the brunette beauty raved about how much she loves her co-star's kids.

"We're, like, obsessed with them!" Lowes gushed of Washington's two children, 2-year-old Isabelle and 5-month-old Caleb.

Back in January, Washington dished to Et about how "lucky" she is that her kids are able to come to set with her. "I'm just so grateful for my job," the new mother-of-two said. "I'm so, so grateful that I get to do what I love to do, with people that I love, with scripts that I love -- the entire crew, it's such a family."

Colony Season 2 Episode 9 Review: Tamam Shud

9 March 2017 8:00 PM, PST | TVfanatic | See recent TVfanatic news »

Now we're talkin'!

Events have slowly been toying with the idea that at some point our characters would reach the point of no return, and Colony Season 2 Episode 9 appeared to be that point.

No matter how hard Gracie cries, there's no going back for the Bowman family.

Colony Season 2 has been fielding the changing perspective within the Bowman family about what it means to survive the occupation.

Will needed to get a taste of the world outside the wall to fully appreciate just how rotten things were on the planet he once loved, and Katie needed to step back and reassess the violent decisions she was making and the impact they had on her family.

As far apart as Will and Katie's ideas of pulling their family back together may have seemed during Colony Season 1, after some consideration, they realized they weren't as far off each other's marks as originally thought. »

In Trump News Cycle, CNN Touts New Mission for ‘New Day’

8 March 2017 6:45 AM, PST | Variety - TV News | See recent Variety - TV News news »

The clock was just a few ticks past seven in the morning during a recent broadcast of CNN’s “New Day,” and co-anchor Chris Cuomo acted as if he were grilling someone during the evening.

His early-a.m. sparring partner was Senator Shelley Moore Capito, the West Virginia Republican. In the wake of the Attorney General Jeff Sessions agreeing to recuse himself from any investigation into Russian meddling in U.S. elections, Cuomo asked, hadn’t the time come for a special prosecutor to be appointed?

When Capito didn’t move beyond talking points, Cuomo rephrased the query and asked it again. Then again. And thrice more.

“I don’t think the morning rules apply,” Cuomo told Variety. “This is a primetime accountability show that’s on in the morning.”

And so breakfast is served at CNN, where executives decided to transform what was once a simple attempt to emulate a traditional morning-news program into a harder-hitting »

Quantum Leap: 10 greatest guest performances

Remember this lot popping up in Quantum Leap? They're our pick of the best guest performances in the time travel show...

Once again, we’re celebrating great guest performances in one of our favourite shows. We’re defining a guest appearance as an actor who plays a particular character no more than twice over the run of the show. There’s a bit more competition for the list for this show than most – since Quantum Leap only had two regular cast members and nearly every other actor on the show appeared only once!

First Look At Mary Poppins Returns

With filming currently taking place in London, Emily Blunt, in what feels like an almost perfect piece of casting, steps into the shoes of everyone’s favourite magical nanny with Mary Poppins Reurns, and the first image from the movie has come our way, giving us our first look at new Ms. Poppins. While there isn’t much to go on here, the costume work is pretty spot-on, and that magical hand bag looks pretty darn sweet. Set in 1930's Depression-era London, the movie sees the Banks children Michael and Katie (played here by Ben Whishaw and Emily Mortimer) all grown up, and in need of their one time nanny once again to find the joy and wonder missing in their lives. With Rob Marshall (Chicago, Into The Woods) at the helm, the long overdue sequel brings together a fantastic cast that also includes Lin Manuel Miranda, Julie Walters, Dick Van Dyke, »

The 24 Best Lyrics Off Ed Sheeran’s New Album, ‘Divide’

3 March 2017 11:28 AM, PST | Entertainment Tonight | See recent Entertainment Tonight news »

After a three-year music hiatus and one year completely off social media, Ed Sheeran is fully back with the release of his third studio album, Divide. The 26-year-old dropped the 12-track album (there’s 16 on the “deluxe” edition) at midnight – and it does not disappoint.

The tunes are catchy, heartfelt, emotionally honest and raw. They’re about love and loss and life --and they’ll surely make your heart swell.

These are the 24 best lyrics.

1.

“I used to think that nothing could be better than touring the world with my songs. I chased the picture perfect life; I think they painted it wrong. I think that money is the route of all evil, and fame is hell. Relationships and hearts you fix, they break as well.” – Eraser

2.

Colony Season 2 Episode 8 Review: Good Intentions

2 March 2017 8:00 PM, PST | TVfanatic | See recent TVfanatic news »

In our current political climate, as I watch the sides battle it out in their beliefs of who is right and who is wrong, I can only wonder whether either would have the temerity to survive if circumstances reached a boiling point.

While it may not be quite boiling yet, the events of Colony Season 2 Episode 8 are only going add fuel to the fire.

Survival continues to depend upon gray areas. If you're staunchly black or white, i.e., unwilling to temporarily work with the other side to gain information and ensure you live to fight another day, your days will be numbered. There's no question about it.

What many of us have already determined, and what it appears those we appreciate the most on Colony are also realizing, is that these groups cannot continue to function as silo organizations and hope to outwit the Raps.
