Writer-Director Scott R. Thompson met award-winning Director/Producer Sam Borowski at the Trail Dance Film Festival in Oklahoma in January of 2012, where both had features playing at the time. After Borowski's "Night Club" won the Director's Choice Award, Thompson and actress Kiera Morrill pitched him the script for "A Place for Heroes." It was here that the seeds were sown for Thompson to Direct and Borowski to Produce the film in Iowa later that year. See more »
