Well for one the title means zip. No one is raised by wolves. In fact there are no wolves of any sort in the film! The premise is the hand held footage type where these kids get a van and drive to a place that in legend has become like Spahn Ranch, where the Manson Family hung out when they were not killing people. Only in this tale, multiple murders and tortures were committed in this farm house. They go there because they are skate boarders and rumors of a large empty swimming pool to skate board in are too much to pass up. They get there and, well, hilarity ensues.
The biggest problem with the film, aside from its sloppy hand held camera work is that not one of the characters is likable. Not one. Well the younger sister of one of the others is remotely likable, but not enough to care about. When no one in the film is likable then all you do is wait for each to meet their just deserts.
Plus the scary scene dialog is completely idiotic. Example: After discovering the van has been rendered useless (oh and it took about 2 hours to drive to the place), the characters continue to say "We have to get out of here!!" I kept thinking "How? The f**cking van is dead!! Walk???" Which yeah they try but like in so many supernatural movies their hour long walk brings them right back to the creepy ranch house.
The Butcher Brothers who are responsible for the terrific "The Hamilton's" and its great follow-up "The Thompsons" like many other experienced film makers, really drop the proverbial ball with this hand held low budget project.
Maybe hand held horror films should only be shot by newcomers since it seems those with experience making actual films do not do them very well.
