Storyline

Is there a point of no return, or is there a possibility for victims of abuse to leave their painful past behind and move on from there? That's the hardest part - to rise from the ashes of their destroyed selves, distorted perception of feelings and emotions; To trust again, to perceive love as it should be and not as a sick drug. Summer's Babes is an action drama inspired by true events that is set in the 70's, and tells the story of abused women. It takes focus on three different characters who each cope with their own personal demons. It's a movie that is not afraid to reveal the weaknesses of the characters, nor the ugly reality of life for these women, and never judges their circumstance or choices. The pillar of this story is the Dignity that lies in falling during the journey of self-discovery. Written by Marzia Ciacci
