"I can't tell you that he did do it.But I can't tell you for sure that he didn't."

A nice episode of characters, in their own way, trying to do the right thing.Whilst it seems a bit odd that someone as senior as Hayes would be involved in such a minor matter, the police investigation gives Michael, Tasha and Toadie an opportunity to examine their actions and try to proceed with a clear conscience.Tasha's willingness to own up once she learns Lucas is being blamed shows how far she's come(and arguably, so does Summer's belief that she shouldn't).Michael ends up protecting them both but gets a serve from Tasha which throws interesting light on his past actions.Although there's some clumsy plotting and white-washed continuity, it's nice that the fact Toadie isn't his own boss anymore is addressed.

Aside from that, not much going on, although Tasha giving Karl(not much of)a makeover is a nice use of different character combinations.
