The First Official Part One
22 July 2014 | by (Nottinghamshire, England) – See all my reviews

The first two parter has an amazing first part. Well, I say the first two parter, but if you count episodes five and six as a two parter, it's not. It's the first official two parter, anyhow. But I digress, the story is a great one. It moves away from the arc about the dragons settling in on Berk, but a bit of change is good. The story focuses on a mysterious girl who is determined to find out everything about dragons, with only Astrid feeling suspicious about her.

The animation for the flight scene is amazing for a TV show. Again, nothing on the films, but still some beautiful shots. It's the start of a great little adventure. Not my personal favourite, is in fact give it an eight usually, but from a child's point of view I'd understand the love. It also develops Hiccup and Astrid's relationship, so the story doesn't go without development.
