Major Crimes is called in after police find a burial ground in Griffith Park containing the bodies of at least 5 young women. The most recent killing occurred the previous evening but the grave had been dug at least two days before. It turns out the killer was interrupted by two men who went off to a quiet corner to be alone. The most recent victim is quickly identified and had made a purchase at a department store. The CCTV footage shows that she met a man - someone who knew well enough to keep his back to the cameras but who Brenda is convinced is lawyer and serial rapist Philip Stroh. Getting Chief Pope and others to believe her however is more difficult. Brenda isn't going to let him get away this time and is willing to sacrifice her future with the LAPD to get him. Written by
