When Mark asks Danny to build a bike in memory of eight sailors who were lost while serving with him on the USS Belknap, Danny knows he must create something special in their honor. Later, Danny finds a beautiful, rare Corvette in a driveway, and when the crew argues about getting enough horsepower to a classic Camaro, they have to call in the Count to lay down the law.

When Danny challenges the guys to come up with innovative money-making ideas for the shop, Shannon proposes building a bike from parts picked up at a swap meet, and Mike ups the ante by challenging Shannon to do it all in one day. While Shannon, Ryan and Mike are at the swap meet, Danny and Kevin hit an auction in Palm Springs to see if they can find any treasure in the desert.

While the Camaro is being worked on, Danny and Shannon track down a '69 Mustang and '68 Chevelle, both built for speed, and Kevin spots a 1969 AMX that he knows Danny has always wanted.

Ryan and Kevin head to the Bonneville Salt Flats to see The Turbinator, a vehicle that holds a land speed record try to break 500 MPH. Back at the shop, Davey Deals stops by to ask Danny to help him sell a classic 1951 Nash, and Mike and Paul trick out an electric bicycle that's projected to hit 100-miles-per-hour. Danny decides to put the bike to the test, pitting two wheels of electric power against the high octane horsepower of an all American Muscle car.
