Episode cast overview, first billed only:

Christopher suspects another ploy and demands a paternity test when told, after Elena guessed, that Rebecca is pregnant. Desperate for oil he can't drill on Southfork but already sold to ruthless Venezuelans, John Ross tries in vain to win Ray's vote trough Lucy. Sue Ellen forces Elena to help him out temporarily during an extension which Vicente Cano grants after John Ross betrays Veronica, the false Martha, who admitted having stolen from them while offering in vain to team up with John Ross in bed and business again. Threatened with a nasty lawsuit, Bobby grudgingly apologizes to Ann's ex Harris Ryland for slapping him as 'wife-stalker', is handed a file on her darkest secret but burns it unread before her eyes. Bum's research suggest to J.R. Cliff's ambitious, quasi-adopted Pakistani 'driver', in fact chief henchman with a Harvard degree, may be his arch-rival's Achilles heel. Written by KGF Vissers

Did You Know?

The police cruiser seen during the climax is a 2012 Chevrolet Impala although the livery of the Dallas Police Department is the pre-2010 version (white on blue). Also, the Impala has 5-spoke alloy rims, not available on the 9C1 police package. The standard DPD cruiser used in service since 2010 is the Dodge Charger. See more »

The cops show up twice on this one. First they arrest Bobby for assault. Then they show up again at the end of the show to question John Ross.

In between we are treated to more dirty family secrets, a test, and some dirty tricks that are threatening to sink the Ewings. Linda Grey and Charlene Tilton both get some camera time this show though Grey is far more involved in the plot then Tilton is.

Still, the goings on are quite interesting. This episode seems to move a little slower than the previous ones. There is no physical fighting in this one and really the only clue about the newest mystery of someone with bones in the closet to hide is burned in the fireplace.

What this all means is that we are prepping for something big. At the end of this one, it might be that John Ross is sunk by circumstantial evidence though there is a camera that might bail him out.

Rebecca is softer and this is her most honest episode in the series. No lies for her this episode, just an extra surprise she finds out which stacks on top of last shows. Elena gets to spill on of Rebecca's secrets to Christopher. At the end of the show, Christopher gets a second surprise.

Next show should be a dangerous one for John Ross. Stay tuned...
