Arnold Schwarzenegger Talks Terminator 6 and Reveals Some New Information

Arnold Schwarzenegger is opening up to fans about the upcoming Terminator 6 film, and we're learning some new tidbits about it. While visiting fans at a hotel in Birmingham, England for a fan event called: An Experience With Arnold Schwarzenegger he told TheTerminatorFans.com that "Linda Hamilton is currently training."

That confirms what we learned already this week, that Hamilton will appear in the new Terminator film, it also means that she has already started training for the production. Arnold also revealed that "Terminator 6 will not be called Terminator 6, it will have another name."

I think that is obvious, and kind of a relief. What a lame title anyway. But it will be a sequel to Terminator 2: Judgement Day and that "It’s going to ignore Genisys."

He also said that "Robert Patrick will not be involved." This makes sense because the T-1000 was killed off in

This year, Arnold Schwarzenegger (above in Terminator: Genisys) has expressed his enthusiasm about appearing in another installment of the Terminator series multiple times, which is completely understandable. Earlier this week, Schwarzenegger again talked about his interest in the franchise. Terminator 6 Bringing Arnold 'Bach' Soon, Shooting Next Spring?

Besides the moderate but forgettable hits that were the Expendables films, Arnold's post-governing career has been anything but stellar. That hasn't kept movie producers from camping on his lawn with fresh scripts ready to go, though. Despite the recent films' general "ho humness," the one opportunity that fans are always willing to give Arnold another shot in is the Terminator franchise. While Terminator Genisys was mostly a misfire critically (25% on Rotten Tomatoes), the film made bank internationally, grossing a solid $440 million worldwide. Now, both Arnie and producer/director James Cameron are talking about Terminator 6.

Speaking to TheArnoldFans, Cameron said:

“There has to have been a guy whose DNA was harvested from - that they grew the organic outer layer that they grew the Terminator from...and that presumibly was a real person at some point. Now, the question is, did that person have some sort of meaning to

King Conan Movie Is Still Happening

King Conan Movie Is Still Happening
Earlier this year, Universal canceled The Legend of Conan, which would have had Arnold Schwarzenegger reprising his iconic role from the original 1982 classic. Also known in some circles as King Conan, the movie was believed to be dead. Not true, says Schwarzenegger. As far as he's concerned, the movie is still happening.

Schwarzenegger was at Cannes this weekend to promote a new underwater documentary. But the talk quickly turned to his impending slate, which includes a recently announced Terminator reboot that James Cameron will be producing and the Twins sequel Triplets. King Conan was almost completely waxed over. But Arnie stopped short for an update, confirming that things are moving forward.

"It's being rewritten...the idea is to do it."

What we don't have confirmed from the action icon is whether or not the sequel is still at Universal. Arnold has been teasing this movie since 2012, which is actually not that long in Hollywood years.

Arnold Schwarzenegger says Twins sequel Triplets is still moving ahead and could shoot this year

Arnold Schwarzenegger hasn’t had the best of luck with sequels lately. Paramount pulled the plug on its planned Terminator Genisys follow-up, The Legend of Conan has been abandoned, Arnold said he’ll not return for The Expendables 4 without Sylvester Stallone, and he also revealed he passed on the opportunity to reprise the role of Dutch in The Predator.

Well, it seems we may still see the action icon returning to one of his former roles, with Schwarzenegger telling EW that the long-gestating Twins follow-up Triplets is still moving ahead and could start shoot by the end of the year:

“We are just now working on Triplets,” said Schwarzenegger. “That is on top of the list, for me. Because I’ve been trying to do that for 20 years. Ivan Reitman (the director of Twins) believes in it. Danny DeVito believes in it — who always believed in it — and Eddie Murphy believes in it.

Twins 2 Begins Shooting This Year?

Arnold Schwarzenegger doesn't want to give up on reviving some of his most iconic movie roles. The actor recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly about his upcoming movie Aftermath, but the conversation turned to his long-gestating sequel to the 1988 comedy Twins, which is going to be titled Triplets. Chatting with EW, the writer said that the film, which would have seen an Unforgiven-styled sequel with an old Conan, is over:
