Storyline

A series of witnesses are summoned to give their accounts of the events leading up to the violent death of Mike Green (Kellyn Rost) and the disappearance of his girlfriend, Gretchen Montgomery (Trisha Luna). Instead of shedding light on what actually happened, the conflicting accounts of the witnesses further obfuscate the search for truth. Based on the Japanese short story "Yabu no Naka" by Ryunosuke Akutagawa, "In a Grove" explores the dark and confusing world of human perception. "In a Grove" features a stellar cast, beautiful, dark imagery and haunting original music by Little j, Ed Wrzesien, Halcyon Daze and Matthew A. Pearson. Written by Mike Bazanele

Trivia

During Tony Barbeau's explosive interrogation scene, actor Asa Downing accidentally broke one of the legs of the tripod being used for the shot. You can see the frame shift as the leg collapses, adding a touch of realism to an already tense scene. See more »
