Learn more- The story of this comedy begins one spring evening when Crevo slowly falls asleep, and continues until noon the next day when the heated passions of the social community calm down to the point of pain...
The assembly of the village committee of the village of Crevo is held once a year, under the leadership of President Dragec. Dragec is a conceited counterfeit of political grandeur, mirroring and copying the leaders of the government within his own modest capabilities. In any case, he is also an original copy of everything and anything that is on our plate. The most common lies, offers and promises are the current authorities, former and present, and often future ones. The polite and lofty vocabulary of today's government does not talk about sewage or drainage ditches like Dragec, but it certainly stinks in its credibility. The secretary and treasurer of Crevo, Durda, is late for the assembly due to a swollen piglet, and parliamentarians are not late for parliament sessions, they just don't come. They do not feed the pigs, but the people with their uniqueness and sublimity.
The often-mentioned culture, brought to us in its primitive and displaced, literally greatness, by Ivek aka Tarzan, is only a letterhead in the formation of the fact of future cooperation on the international level at the meeting of the chairmen. When Trpimir Orsus speaks at the assembly: "It's not that there are no gypsies among us..." is the truth that least hurts the gypsies themselves, and in the minds of those in power, it causes outrage and astonishment because of the established interpretation of the word "gypsy" among the people. Representation in the media space of farmers, or peasants, we know what it is like and how important it is to ministerial dwarfs who see the progress of Croatian peasants exclusively through the import of "foreign" peasants. The professionally crippled TV crew of NNHTV television, with its so-called professionalism, only contributes to the insignificance of the peasants.
The village of Crevo is small and marginal, on the border of the county. Rumors, more or less all, mentally displaced live their lives. Without interest, goal and light at the end of the tunnel. Indifference and social unawareness are a major association of today's Croatian society. How capable or incompetent we are, how willing and not stingy we are, how much we would rule and not be guilty, depends solely on the imperative of realizing personal interest.
Marginals have no awareness of political literalism, which has been experiencing its puberty since the independence of Croatia, but live their lives narrow-minded, miserable, marginal. The years of independence flow from hollow to empty (HDZ - SDP - HDZ - SDP...), so that it slowly becomes monotonous to listen to fables about sales, concessions, theft, evasion, bankruptcy, etc. Somewhere, between the lines, such directors of the government speak about assembly, and Crevari as a people, by the inertia of living life, function self-deprecatingly and submissively, without rebellion or attitude.
The marginals of our society, in some attempts to rule, are not from yesterday. They are our already traditional steadfastness, and what is most unfortunate, with the belief that they are all almighty. It is unnecessary to talk about this caricature of society with a degree of consideration, because the Marginals have the most serious intention of presenting their own social marginal circus to the viewer as a circus of the authorities. The thought that the Marginals are our axis power may be offensive to some, but with the necessary remark, these are also flesh and blood people and as such, with their flesh, they make food for the rulers. Everything remains within the given norms. Privatization in decision-making, without bearing the weight of them, is the same as spitting into the wind. We are just on our own anyway and who asks us. Small, ordinary and everyday. This mirror of primitivism should be seen as a game, in which the Marginals are mice, not cats. They were and will remain.
