Excellent example of the value linked to land, culture

This documentary is an excellent look at one man, Eladio Pop (and his family), and his efforts to preserve cacao farming as it's been practiced for 1,000s of years by the Mayans in the Toledo District of Southern Belize.

Eladio has great energy and wisdom, and I had the privilege to meet him briefly during a visit to Agouti Cacao Farm in 2013. He reminded me of a modern Ralph Waldo Emerson or John Muir. He radiated the positive energy of a man on a mission -- a good thing, as he is up against some serious challenges in the area.

I highly recommend this film.
