Absolutely stunning "reality" TV (shown on Sky's Arts Programme completely without adverts!), with cameras following the amateur cast from rehearsals into their homes, work places and among friends. Their understandable nervousness and pressures (most are full time workers juggling commitment to attendances and script learning) are well documented - and their talents are frankly boundless. Director Cerina is the lovable star, supported by her musical director and calling on appropriate professional help from some pretty impressive characters. Dorothy's vocals, once developed by careful grooming, are up to to top Broadway requirements. This is the best TV could ever do for the theater and theater lovers!
