Did You Know?

Characters consistently pronounce RFID as R-FID. RFID stands for radio frequency identification. It is pronounced as separate letters. It is a conjunction of RF and ID. You pronounce it arrr--eff--eye--dee. Saying arrr-fid does have a pirate cachet, but it is wrong. Later in the show they do correctly refer to HVAC as H-VAC, which is inconstant but accepted usage. HVAC stands for heating ventilation and air conditioning. It is more proper to say it as separate letters as well, since AC is a common acronym for air conditioning. See more »
