27 March 2017 1:20 PM, PDT | PEOPLE.com | See recent PEOPLE.com news »

Fingers crossed, Fifty Shades fans!

Marcia Gay Harden, who plays Christian Grey’s adoptive mother in the popular erotic saga, says she’s down to reprise her role if the fourth book in the series, Grey: Fifty Shades of Grey As Told by Christian, ever makes it to the big screen.

“I’m trying to now think about, ‘What would Christian’s point of view be. Would mom even be in it?’ ” she tells People. “She rescued him. She was a doctor, she rescued him … I don’t know. Would I be in it? Yeah, sure. I’m game.”

Review: Darker Shades of Elise (2017)

25 March 2017 2:13 AM, PDT | The Cultural Post | See recent The Cultural Post news »

The bored housewife embarking on an affair has always been a staple of erotic thrillers from Dtv classics such as Animal Instincts (1992) and Secret Games (1992) to more mainstream fare like Unfaithful (2002) – these sexually frustrated women, tired of being ignored by their workaholic husbands decide to go out and have some fun. Not merely being erotic films, the thriller element kicked in when the leading ladies found themselves out of their depth and their fooling around came back to bite them.

Taking inspiration from such predecessors, 2017’s British production, Darker Shades of Elise finds Becky Fletcher’s title character beginning a torrid affair with a photographer, Felix (Arron Blake), after she strongly suspects that her husband (Tommy Vilés) is also cheating. What begins as a kinky fling beginning with simple transgressions such as making love whilst Elise’s husband is in the next room, spirals out of control as Felix starts »

Charlie Hunnam: Robert Pattinson didn't speak to me during 'The Lost City Of Z'

25 March 2017 1:29 AM, PDT | ScreenDaily | See recent ScreenDaily news »

“I didn’t know if he was just ‘in that zone’ or if he genuinely didn’t like me.”

Charlie Hunnam has come a long way since Channel 4 series Queer as Folk, one of his first roles.

The Newcastle-born actor rocketed to international fame after landing the lead in FX’s Sons Of Anarchy, the network’s highest-rated series to date, and has since become a star on the big screen despite dropping out of Fifty Shades Of Grey - something he “still feels bad about”.

Hunnam has two major films out in the next few months; James Gray’s biopic of British explorer Percy Fawcett The Lost City Of Z, and Guy Ritchie’s big budget King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword, set for release in May.

We sat down with the actor during the Berlin Film Festival, when The Lost City Of Z screened out of competition, to discuss »

Gwyneth Paltrow's second annual Goop sex issue is here, and as expected, it's all sorts of over-the-top amazing.

The 44-year-old actress' lifestyle brand focuses on anal sex this time around, and features a brand new line of expensive "goop-approved" pleasuring products in the "Get-It-On" shop.

According to the site's sex guide, which includes a Q&A segment with research psychoanalyst and author Paul Joannides, Psy. D., "If anal turns you on, you are definitely not alone."

"In the 80s, I remember hearing from a friend that he had a videotape of anal porn. This seemed shocking at the time," Joannides explained. "I'm not sure there are too many middle schoolers today who would be shocked or even surprised to watch anal sex on Pornhub or Xhamster. I'd say that by 2005, porn had totally blurred the distinction between a woman's anus and vagina."

Charlie Hunnam, the Original Christian Grey, Explains Why He Still Hasn’t Seen ‘Fifty Shades’

22 March 2017 12:09 PM, PDT | Indiewire | See recent Indiewire news »

When Charlie Hunnam backed out of starring as Christian Grey in 2015’s “Fifty Shades of Grey,” due to what Universal cited as a scheduling conflict with his FX motorcycle drama “Sons Of Anarchy,” fans of E. L. James’ erotic romance novel were left wondering what really happened. Now, in an interview with Elle Magazine, the actor has opened up about the film he passed on.

Jim Gianopulos Nearing Deal to Be Named Paramount Chairman/CEO (Exclusive)

21 March 2017 2:45 PM, PDT | Variety - Film News | See recent Variety - Film News news »

After two weeks of speculation, Jim Gianopulos’s ascent to the top of Paramount Pictures as Chairman and CEO appears to be close to being made official by the studio’s corporate parent, Viacom Inc. — putting the flagging studio in the hands of an industry veteran known for working collegially with talent, agents and business executives in the insular community that is Hollywood.

A deal could be announced as soon as this week. Reps for both Gianopulos and Viacom declined to comment.

Initially, Viacom wanted to impose too many controls on Gianopulos, but he pushed back, according to people familiar with the negotiations. Instead, it is understood that Viacom has walked that back and is expected to give Gianopulos full greenlight authority for movies costing up to $100 million. He will replace Brad Grey, who was pushed out at Paramount last month after 12 years running the studio.

This article contains spoilers for just about every film on its list.

I don’t know when it started exactly.

When I was very young, it was fine. I maybe even enjoyed getting on an elevator and being whisked off, but somewhere in the timeline of my life, something changed. I began to dread stepping onto one. My heart would pound, a cold sweat would creep down my neck and my breath would quicken.

“What’s wrong?” a bemused acquaintance would ask as we were about to embark.

“Oh! Nothing, really,” I’d respond as casually as I could for someone suddenly about to lose control of their bowels. “I just thought I might take the stairs. Bit of exercise, you know.”

There's crying, and then there's movie crying. For whatever reason, there's truly no environment better situated for blubbering than being seated in front of a screen. Whether it's a dark theater, your own living room or, best of all, on a brightly-lit plane as you are squeezed in like a sausage among 200 strangers.  There's no cry like the movie cry. Nothing is more therapeutic, nothing is more freeing, nothing does more to make you question every life decision you've ever made. Newswire: Charlie Hunnam thinks kissing scenes are gross

16 March 2017 10:01 AM, PDT | avclub.com | See recent The AV Club news »

Please know this: Much of the footage featured in this Sons Of Anarchy fan video was probably deeply unenjoyable for Charlie Hunnam, and Fifty Shades Of Grey would have been a real fucking drag if he had ended up starring in it. That’s because, as he revealed in an interview with Elle, he isn’t a fan of sex and/or kissing scenes due to being “profoundly germophobic.” So basically, he’s happy kissing his girlfriend and pretty much no one else. To elaborate on this fear, he told a traumatic story about a parasite that was going around when he was a youngster.

When I was maybe eight or nine, there was a parasite from dogs in the north of England that, if you ingested it, could turn you blind. We had a thing in schools to educate the kids about the importance of hygiene, specifically around dogs »

The Gross Reason Charlie Hunnam Is a Germaphobe – and Hates Sex Scenes

15 March 2017 4:37 PM, PDT | PEOPLE.com | See recent PEOPLE.com news »

Charlie Hunnam has simulated sex with some of the most beautiful actresses in the world — and chances are he was hating every second of it.

Hunnam isn’t the only actor to admit that movie sex isn’t as steamy as it seems, but his aversion to getting down and dirty with his costars goes way beyond the rote awkwardness of the situation.

For starters, his longtime girlfriend Morgana McNelis is not a fan of watching him get intimate with other women. But perhaps even more importantly, as he tells Elle, “I’m also a germaphobe.”

He explains, “I’ve »

Charlie Hunnam Explains Why He Has Not Seen 'Fifty Shades of Grey' Since Backing Out of Movie

15 March 2017 10:53 AM, PDT | Entertainment Tonight | See recent Entertainment Tonight news »

Charlie Hunnam wants to put his Fifty Shades of Grey days behind him.

The Sons of Anarchy star was originally cast to play the lead role of Christian Grey in the wildly popular erotic books-turned-movie series, but pulled out of the project in October 2013. The studio said in a statement at the time that Hunnam's "immersive TV schedule [was] not allowing him time to adequately prepare for the role." He was subsequently replaced by Jamie Dornan, who wrapped filming the Fifty Shades trilogy opposite Dakota Johnson in July.

Charlie Hunnam Still Hasn't Seen Fifty Shades of Grey: It's Too "Traumatic"

14 March 2017 6:00 AM, PDT | E! Online | See recent E! Online news »

In case Fifty Shades wasn't scandalous enough, let's add phobias to the mix. We all remember the uproar when English actor Charlie Hunnam was cast in the role of Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie—and then backed out. Jamie Dornan agreed to take on the role after Hunnam's exit. Up until this point, Hunnam has maintained that he dropped out of making the movie because of a scheduling conflict, but it sounds a little more complicated than that to us. In a new interview for Elle's March issue, the Sons of Anarchy star spilled the beans on his Fifty Shades casting ordeal. When asked if he'd seen the finished movie, his answer was a resounding no. Michael De Luca Turns Down Paramount Pictures Offer (Exclusive)

13 March 2017 5:02 PM, PDT | Variety - Film News | See recent Variety - Film News news »

Updated: Producer and former Sony Pictures Entertainment production boss Michael De Luca has turned down an offer to take a top job at Paramount Pictures, sources say.

“Although he was very flattered and tempted, it ultimately wasn’t the right fit, and he has a great deal at Universal,” said a person familiar with De Luca’s thinking.

De Luca had been widely reported to be on the verge of joining Paramount as the No. 2 under a new chairman and CEO, presumed to be Jim Gianopulos.

De Luca, 51, was expected to take the title of vice-chairman and oversee production at the troubled studio, which has been mired in last place among the major studios for the last five years.

But Universal pressed hard to keep De Luca in its stable. He is considered one of the most prolific and respected producers working with the studio, guiding key projects like the “Fifty Shades of Grey” films. »

Romance Series ‘Confess,’ From Awestruck, To Arrive On April 4th

9 March 2017 3:47 PM, PST | Tubefilter.com | See recent Tubefilter News news »

Awestruck, the AwesomenessTV-run network that defines its audience as “millennial moms,” is gearing up to share its first original series. It has shared the trailer and release date for Confess, an adaptation of a romance novel that will arrive on Verizon’s Go90 platform on April 4th.

With Confess, Awestruck and co-producer Lifeboat Productions are taking an approach that mirrors that of Awestruck’s parent company. Just as is the case with most AwesomenessTV originals, the cast features a mix of traditional actors (Katie Leclerc and Ryan Cooper portray the two romantic leads) and digital media stars (look for Amy Pham and Brittany Furlan in supporting roles.) The show itself is also hyper-targeted to its primary audience. For AwesomenessTV originals, the viewers are teens, but for Awestruck, they’re moms. Therefore, Confess seems to have taken some stylistic pages out of the Fifty Shades of Grey book, if its trailer is to be believed. »
