Storyline

Chris is fed up being taken for granted as everyone's backup, even ingrate Summer's ghostwriter, while his grief over losing Aiden is ignored. Summer realizes her error after Chris posts a column on such one-sided 'friendship'. After consulting friends, she ends up blaming poor Chris for losing Aiden by passiveness. Now the trio has decided to adopt a single surname, Taodie pleads the case of rare Rebecchi, Sonya that of regular Mitchell, Callum is supposed to choose. After Sonya says she can't part with her and Jade's inheritance, Toadie offers to give up his name. Once she realizes how hard that would be for him, Sonya backtracks and does the sensible thing, as Andrew argues against feminist extremist Tash. Written by KGF Vissers

The initial joviality of Toadie and Sonya's surname debate seems a bit out of place at first, although neither of them noticing Callum walking out on them is a decent moment.Once they start talking about it seriously, though, it's actually a quite good storyline. And while Jade's outburst is annoying, it's also understandable in the circumstances and there's a nice scene between her and Sonya as a result.

While Tasha and Andrew together continue to be good value, Chris finally challenges Summer over her recent behaviour.Unfortunately, some very bad advice from a wrongly identifying Kyle sees her do even more to upset their friendship.
