This is REALLY picking up
5 August 2013 | by (Valhalla) – See all my reviews

So far, yes I do think this story is better than Doug Walker's actual reviews as Critic. As you may have guessed this is not a review for just this episode but for every other one that has preceded it.

The humour is really really good. Now there are hilarious parts in it. My favourite joke so far is when Terl says "What's your name?" to Zod, to which he replies "KNEEL!" and Terl says "oh god a foreigner, Hello Neal it is nice to meet you." at the end of the second episode where the critics are together in the flying house. It was either that or the part where Nostalgia Critic goes on a rampage against the enemy dressed as Judge Dredd in this episode (and YES he does go over the top but in a fun way).

I am only half way through and already I want to desperately find out what happens to the characters. The story and the writing is so good I am already addicted to this stuff. I think that if it continues improving ad dramatically as it does then this might be the first 10/10 comedy film I have rated in ages. Being as that it is 3½ hours long and I am only an hour and a half in this could be possible.

I really hope I can get this on DVD. I know they have released it but I now really want it. My only complaint so far is the special effects (but even then for a bunch of B-list movie critics that are only on the internet even that is excused). If you can watch it, I highly recommend it.
