The squad investigates what they believe is an assassination attempt on the city's next superintendent of education, Dr. Massoud, who about to be sworn in by highly respected Judge Howard Cully. It was Cully who was shot however. It was a highly sophisticated attempt using state of art technology and from the evidence they find in the shooter's lair, they think there may be a witness. They realize the judge may have been the intended victim all along and working with the FBI, race to find the shooter before he gets at the witness. Meanwhile, Rusty's biological father wants to meet with him to apologize and Sharon agrees. She also has plan that should take care of the situation for good. Written by garykmcd
