Storyline

After burying their friend, Miles, Charlie and the others continue their quest to rescue Danny. They learn that Monroe now has a working train and Miles is certain Danny will be transported to Philadelphia. Nora contacts a fellow member of the militia and she decides to blow up the train, even if it puts Danny's life in danger. Danny meanwhile is having a hard time with Captain Tom Neville. In flashbacks, Neville's life at the time of the blackout is revealed. He is clearly prepared to do whatever is necessary to protect his wife and son. In Philadelphia, Rachel tells Monroe about the pendants. Written by garykmcd

Goofs

The Baldwin 4-6-0 Steam Engine #44 (Renumbered #47) is from the SC RR museum, This engine was designed to burn coal and would not run on wood as depicted in the show. The steam engine is currently not operational. Special effects were used so that the locomotive appeared as if under steam while pushed and pulled by a diesel locomotive. See more »

Quotes

Miles Matheson: That uncle you knew, when you were little... not dead. I just, um... I can't be him right now. Because I'm gonna have to kill Monroe. I'm gonna have to walk to Philly and kill my best friend.
Charlie Matheson: I get it, Miles. But honestly, I don't want to hear it. You were right. Sitting here, moping... It won't help us get Danny back, and it probably will get us killed. So, Philadelphia. Aaron, you coming?
Aaron Pittman: Yes. I'm coming.
Charlie Matheson: Nora? You in, or are you gonna try and kill my brother again?
Nora Clayton: Yes. I'm in.
Miles Matheson: Good. Miles, ...

Not getting better
16 October 2012 | by (Waukee, IA) – See all my reviews

You know I think that writers should have stopped doing this when LOST started fading. Attempting to build story week after week like this, well it takes a really good premise, interesting characters and great acting (i.e. Supernatural is the only one I know that's been able to keep it up). I don't think this is going to last. The premise was okay but not great. The characters, well, they had some good ones; which creates a real problem. The acting is sub par which really hurts, except for Giancarlo who elevates anything that he's in. The last episode was a really poorly done, except for the parts that revealed some of Giancarlo's character's history. I don't think it's going to get any better with time. Too bad.
