Did You Know?

During the train chase it's obvious the train is speeding down a single main line well away from the station. In the next shot the train passes to the left of the ground camera, just leaving the house track next to the station. Also revealing the old pass track and other town structures in the background. Rachel Matheson: [about Danny] He's hurt. What did they do to him?
Sebastian 'Bass' Monroe: From now on, no one will touch him, Rachel. You can see him anytime you want.
Rachel Matheson: As long as I tell you whatever you want.
Sebastian 'Bass' Monroe: Well, if I help you, then you help me. Rachel. For the last time, what was Ben working on?
Rachel Matheson: We were both working on it. We worked together. I don't have all the specs, but if you want to turn the power back on, it starts with these pendants. There are 12 of them.

This was a really disappointing episode
3 November 2012 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I have had certain problems with all the episodes, but this one was really bad. If you are fighting the evil empire, you cannot allow them to have a train, so many more would die, so one life would just not be justified. Even so, given that cars can be separated, why not separate the car from the train, and let the engine be destroyed. Also, if the engine is destroyed, that does not even mean that the train will be derailed. Also, how did Miles know the right log. There are a whole bunch of other inconsistencies in the whole series. Without railroads, there would be pretty much no way for any group to be able to control a significant part of the country considering that there would be a lot of patriots to the original US, particularly in the heartland of the US, so revolts would be common. WOuld probably have been better to concentrate on fighting the bad guys instead of finding one person.
